Chapter 850: Last Player Standing
This tone was cold and the atmosphere instantly turned eerie. It was as though the God of Death himself was descending and he would leave no one alive!
Ya Lun nodded. “Alright, Boss. When we leave this place, we’ll immediately destroy ‘Dark Moon’.”
“In that case.” Bai Qinghao said expressionlessly, “You. Hurry up and drag the final player out.”
“Boss…” Ya Lun’s bright and charming expression instantly turned bitter. “Ever since that player left Dai Weian’s team, I’ve secretly observed him on several occasions. He has been consistently choosing to escape whenever he comes into contact with another player. He hasn’t fired a single shot since. I suspect that he plans to wait for all the players to kill each other before claiming victory for himself. I haven’t seen him in a long time. Last night, the smoke from the fire you started was extremely eye-catching yet he didn’t appear. That indicates that he has been hiding and won’t come out by his own initiative.”
“Why do you have so much to say? Go and look for him! Shoot him to death the very instant you see him!” Impatience flashed past Bai Qinghao’s expression.
“Oh.” Ya Lun nodded. He made it past three steps before he turned back. “What about you, Boss?”
“I’ll naturally accompany my precious wife.” Bai Qinghao wrapped his arm around Fang Xinxin’s shoulder and watched her lovingly. “My wife, what do you wish to have for breakfast?”
“Let’s hunt down some wild animals.” Fang Xinxin responded. “We’ve been eating bread all this while. Let’s have something different.”
Bai Qinghao nodded. He instructed Ya Lun on where to meet them and left for the forest to hunt for rabbits. He went to the riverside to skin the rabbits and clean the meat. Finally, he made skewers with tree branches and returned to the destroyed apartment to start a fire and barbecue the meat…
Ya Lun first drove his motorbike around the forest. Soon after, he visited the abandoned town and finally the abandoned factories…
On the first day, his efforts did not pay off.
In the next two days, he began to search all the other places. Still, he could not locate the last remaining ‘player’.
On the third day, he even began to look between the bushes, on the rooftops and in the gaps between large rocks…

Bai Qinghao cleaned the space up and stayed there with Fang Xinxin for three days.
This was because there wasn’t any corpse in this place. Furthermore, there was a river by the side of the home and they could access it easily for drinking water.
“Boss!” Ya Lun stepped into the home and saw that Bai Qinghao was standing before the window to take in the scenery outside. He trembled slightly and said, “This subordinate has searched for three days but I truly could not locate that person. I even started fires everywhere I went, in hope of luring him out. There’s no way he didn’t see the smoke. It’s possible that he doesn’t ever plan on coming out of hiding. What do we do now? If he remains hidden, considering how big this place is, even if we spend a year looking for him, we may never locate him. Are we going to remain trapped here, then?”
Bai Qinghao lifted his hand and pointed at an old-fashioned, handheld loudspeaker in the corner of the room. “Pick that up and use it.”
Ya Lun approached the corner and picked it up in confusion. “Boss, I don’t understand what you mean.”
“He must know that there are three of us remaining here. Tell him that we’ll take him as the fourth member of our team.” Bai Qinghao’s fingers tapped against the window frame. “Since the four of us are a team, there’s no need to kill each other. We can leave this game together.”
“This subordinate understands. I’ll immediately use this to convey the message to him.” Ya Lun ran out in excitement.
Bai Qinghao instructed him heavily. “Be careful. He might pretend to agree for an opportunity to kill you..”
