“I’ve already given all my love to Xinxin.” Fang Shaohua closed his eyes in pain. “In this lifetime, I won’t love anyone aside from Xinxin.”
“But you married me!” She wanted to scream, but her voice sounded broken and weak.
“I already told you; it’s because I took your first time. I married you to take responsibility for you.”
Her heart was bleeding. She murmured softly. “I don’t want you to take responsibility. I want your love.”
“I previously took Xinxin’s first time when I was drunk.” Fang Shaohua’s heart was in pain. “I had wanted to take responsibility for her, but she married Bai Qinghao and doesn’t need me. Nonetheless, I let her down with my actions. I can’t let you down too. I can give you a marriage and promise you that you’ll be my only woman. The only thing I cannot promise is love.”
She had pursued him for nearly two years. She asked him with a sigh. “There isn’t the slightest possibility that you’ll fall for me?”
