“There is a time difference in the two countries but the result from the international competition has just been released. Unfortunately, Miss Bai’s design did not win any award.” Fang Xinxin tapped on her phone and revealed the results for the competition.
Bai Jingrou smiled. “It’s alright. The process is more important than the result.”
Xiao Aiting demanded in anger. “Fang Xinxin, what’s wrong with you? It’s none of your business that Bai Jingrou participated in the competition. Do you have to tear her face down in front of a crowd?”
The group of employees around them did not express their opinion. Silence was gold.
Fang Xinxin smiled coldly. “Are you the only one allowed to boast in front of others? I’ll return your question from earlier. What’s wrong with me telling everyone the truth?”
“You!” Xiao Aiting was left speechless. “Bai Jingrou is the only successor of the outstanding Long Group. You’ll never be able to compete against her.”
This time, the agreement on everyone’s faces was also clear. They simply chose to remain silent.

“You didn’t even release a fart when everyone was gathering around us. All you did was silently enjoy the attention. There’s no need to act as a hypocrite right now.” Fang Xinxin could not be bothered to deal with her. She turned and headed for the Sheng Shi Group’s office building.
She stepped through the revolving doors and made her way through the extravagant lounge.
The employees’ lifts were flooded and there was a crowd of people queuing for it. Some of the employees had chosen to take the stairs.
The lift meant for the upper management on the left, however, was completely empty.
