He was worried she would fall off with the way she was clinging onto him and decided to bring her up into a princess carry. He then brought her to a nearby bench and sat down with her on his lap. He looked down at her little face covered in medicine. “What’s making you so happy?”
“It’s because you wanted to marry me.” She had been too affected by the possibility that he agreed to their engagement for his grandmother.
