Not far away, the two ghost things immediately attacked Feng Yuanlin and Gu Yunzheng first. As soon as they moved, the hideous woman sitting on the ax immediately raised it in the air and aimed at their heads. Feng Yuanlin and Gu Yunzheng were quick to use talismans, and the evil spirits howled in pain!
It was just that no matter how many talismans there were, they would eventually run out. The evil spirit which was just a head and legs suddenly stretched its head out dozens of centimeters. It opened its mouth and bared its sharp teeth to bite at Zhu Cen’s head. Fortunately, Zhu Cen was quick to react. He subconsciously sensed the danger and immediately dodged. The ghost thing only managed to tear a bit of flesh off Zhu Cen’s arm.
Zhu Cen was in so much pain that his face turned pale. The faces of the members of Group 9 changed one after another.
Before they could react, the hand of the other ghost thing also shot out. Taking advantage of a moment when Xiao Shan wasn’t paying attention, it suddenly grabbed his neck from behind, the long, pointed nails about to dig into his throat. Feng Yuanlin’s face changed drastically, and he subconsciously took out the last talisman he had and threw it at the skeleton.
Feng Yuanlin’s attention was all on Xiao Shan and that ghost thing. When the talisman hit its hand, it let out a blood-curdling screech and shrank back in pain. What Feng Yuanlin didn’t notice however, was a sharp ax which suddenly appeared above his head.
The ax was too fast for Gu Yunzheng to react. It was only a few centimeters away from Feng Yuanlin’s head.
Everyone was terrified!
“Director Feng!” Wu Haoming and Xiao Shan screamed in despair!
Although Feng Yuanlin didn’t see the ax with his own eyes, he could clearly see from its shadow that it was getting closer and closer to his head. Just as Feng Yuanlin thought in despair that he would die on the spot…
Bang! A few talismans flew over, and with a flash of golden light, the ax was suddenly sent flying. Before everyone could react, they saw a string of white flames suddenly appear on the ax, burning brighter and brighter. As the ax burned, the white-eyed female ghost wailed miserably.
When the ax melted, the bones of the white-eyed female ghost cracked, and her body shattered into pieces which fell to the ground.
The other two evil spirits howled indignantly when they saw their companion suddenly die.
Xiao Shan and Wu Haoming had really been scared out of their wits just now. Seeing that their Director Feng had escaped death, they stepped forward excitedly and hugged him fiercely.
On the side, Group 9 was also very shocked and curious as to who had saved Feng Yuanlin and killed that female ghost.
