After parting ways with Brother Feng, Chi Shuyan took the bracelet and jade pendant which she had set aside for Assistant Zhu to the company. The receptionists at Qi Corporation now knew that Chi Shuyan was President Qi’s fiancée. As soon as they saw her come in, they respectfully took her to President Qi’s elevator.
Chi Shuyan didn’t want to disturb the staff on duty, so she took the elevator up and went to see Assistant Zhu first with the jade bracelet and jade pendant she had prepared for him.
Assistant Zhu was flattered and quite moved as he blurted out, “Good, Little Lady Boss, you still remember this small matter?”
“Assistant Zhu’s matter can’t be considered small. You can keep this jade pendant for yourself and give the bracelet to anyone you like!” Chi Shuyan said.
Assistant Zhu hurriedly chuckled and said, “Little Lady Boss, how would I dare casually give away something from you? Thank you so much. By the way, you’re here to find the boss, right? I’ll take you there now!”
Assistant Zhu now had a better impression of the little lady boss. He felt that it was a good thing that the boss had found such a beautiful and good-tempered woman without any airs. The little lady boss was young, but she was very thorough in whatever she did and had a good character. She was simply too easy to get along with compared with the cold-faced big boss.
Assistant Zhu couldn’t wait for this little lady boss to come to the company from time to time to put out the flames of the boss’s bad temper.
Assistant Zhu led his little lady boss to his boss’s office and said that the boss had just finished a meeting. After he knocked on the door, a deep and majestic voice rang out from inside. “Come in!”
