1567 Cautious Qi Zhenbai
Chi Shuyan really hadn’t expected Qi Zhenbai to drive up as soon as she got home. For a moment, she wasn’t sure if he was looking for her or if it was something else.

His features were solid, and he had a high nose and deep eyes.

Just as she was about to find an excuse to leave, the man’s deep and pleasant voice rang out in the car again. “My grandfather was hospitalized recently and doesn’t know about us yet. He wants you to come with me to see him. Do you want to go?”
The man asked the question very carefully. He raised his eyes and looked at her face again, as if he was holding his breath as he waited for her answer.
For a moment, Chi Shuyan had the illusion that Qi Zhenbai seemed very nervous as he waited for her answer. But when had this man ever been nervous?

What he meant was that she should ask Young Master Qi her questions since he knew everything.

As for asking the man next to her… she snuck a glance at him out of the corner of her eye and saw that he had been sitting upright and motionless even since she got into the car. He probably didn’t want to bother with her.
Fine, she would just wait until she got to the hospital and saw Grandpa Qi for herself!
