Bai Weiwei’s eyes grew bloodshot in outrage. “Why? What if I didn’t care about my brother?”
Arthur smiled. “If you didn’t care about your brother, I wouldn’t be able to find a way to threaten you for a while.”
His face hardened into a cold and cruel expression as he spoke.
“Send people into the dungeon. Have them chop off that filthy human’s four limbs and bring them over.”
Just as he finished speaking, the cuff of his sleeve was given a harsh tug.
She held back her fear and finally blurted out, “Don’t kill him.”
Arthur should have been delighted that his prey had fallen into his trap.
But he inexplicably felt aggrieved.
Coldly, he continued, “Why not, don’t you not care? I’ll chop him into pieces for you to see.”
“I promise.”
Arthur sneered, “Too late. I’m going to kill him.”
Now, he didn’t even want her to think about her brother.
He truly did have the intent to kill.
Bai Weiwei suddenly wrapped her hands around his waist and leaned into his bosom, burying her face into his neck.
Her breathing was erratic, and her voice quavered.
“My Lord, please.”
A blood slave respectfully addressing their master as “My Lord.”
Arthur’s eardrums trembled. An itch spread from his ears all the way down his neck and throughout his entire body.
He suddenly ordered softly, “Say it again.”
Bai Weiwei fell silent before calling out softly and tenderly, “My Lord.”

Arthur languidly reached out and selected a rose-shaped ring. The rose-red luster gave it a gorgeous feeling under the candle light.
He sat on the chair. Bai Weiwei kept her hands on her knees, sitting obediently on his lap with her head bowed.
Arthur stretched out her finger and slid the ring on.
“Is this all you brought today?”
The merchants immediately offered up even better gems.
“My Lord, this is the latest style of gemstones. The most expensive product is this earthy brown bracelet.”
Arthur looked at the brown gemstone bracelet, picked it up, and placed it on Bai Weiwei.
“And this cloth is the best and most expensive one this year. Because the raw materials are deep-sea creatures and aren’t easy to capture, only three bolts were produced this year.”
The merchants held up three splendidly dyed, beautifully glossy cloth.
Arthur said calmly, “Take them all.”
The merchant bowed his head respectfully, fawningly praising, “The miss will definitely look good wearing them.”
Arthur smiled with some satisfaction. Suddenly, he clasped a sapphire necklace around Bai Weiwei’s neck.
The merchants came in an endless stream.
Arthur specially opened the castle gate for them.
And he ordered them to bring their best products.
When Arthur placed a pink diamond crown on her head–
Bai Weiwei finally couldn’t bear it and tore off the crown. “Enough. Am I a jewelry display cabinet? You’ve hung so many things on my body.”
These weren’t words based on her character settings.

The jewelry and bracelets on her wrists weighed over ten catties1 in total.

Arthur picked up a pair of aqua-green earrings and brushed her hair to the side, wanting to put them on her.
“How can my blood slave be worse off than others? I want you to wear the best clothes, put on the best jewelry, use the best perfume, and serve the best me.”
Bai Weiwei sighed to the system, “Will the capture target’s thick skin get thicker? Each and every one is getting more and more shameless.”
