Qilin kept on howling as the degree of its shaking movements got even more vigorous!
Li Moying could clearly sensed that after Qilin’s lower back was pierced, it’s Profound Energy kept on routing out at a speed which could be seen as it followed along the sword body, leading back to its body.
Initially he was impacted by the Qilin’s Profound Energy and almost couldn’t handle the pressure as he threw up blood on the spot. But after he got adjusted to it, he gradually caught the rhythm and started to direct that portion of Profound Energy actively.
Li Moying believed that since the valley’s other magical beasts’ Profound Energy could be absorbed by him, then the spiritual beast’s would naturally be able to as well! But the process would definitely be tougher than the other magical beasts. Without outstanding determination and guts, the result would not be him absorbing Profound Energy but ending up with his meridians being cut into pieces.
Luckily Li Moying was gutsy enough and he had enough innate talent.
As one of the excellent god grade geniuses, his meridians intensity and capacity had far surpassed ordinary practitioners.
Spiritual beast Qilin’s powerful and pure Profound Energy which was invasive poured into his body and kept on expanding. If it was any other ordinary person, their meridians would have split broken by this but Li Moying was able to take on the first wave of attack!
A sliver of joy appeared on his face – he had placed the right bet!
As long as he wasn’t struck down at the first moment when the Profound Energy entered his body, he was sure that he could use his own determination to use the Qilin’s Profound Energy for his own use!
Li Moying bore with the pain of the Profound Energy invading deep into his meridians as he held his breath and congealed his senses, starting to concentrate on directing the thunder attributed Profound Energy in his meridians!
Spiritual beast Qilin howls were getting louder and louder!
“Little brat of the Cloudy Qilin Clan, get off from my back! You dare…. dare to absorb the Profound Energy from me! Ever since the Qilin tablet had been constructed successfully for several hundred thousand years, you’re the first practitioner who dared to do so! But stop dreaming, you are not able to merge my Profound Energy successfully. You will explode and die!”
Li Moying’s eyes were slightly shut as he totally ignored that Qilin which flew into a rage out of humiliation.
At the present moment, he had placed all his energy into directing the Profound Energy into his body and had no time to be concerned about other matters, what’s more about answering Qilin.
He was very clear that he must devote himself entirely and not be distracted. As long as there was a single bit of hesitation, there was a possibility that he would have a Qi Deviation!
Qilin had spoken out right now exactly because it wanted to sway his determination, to divert his attention.
Qilin saw that he wasn’t tricked as it continued, “Don’t think that I’m trying to trick you! Who do you think you are? You’re merely a practitioner from the lower realm and you had not received one of the Three Big Inheritances from the clan right? What cultivation method are you intending to use to direct the Profound Energy into your body? My Profound Energy impacts the meridians too much and even with the Cloudy Qilin Clan’s Three Big Inheritances, it’s impossible to neutralise it. You’re forcing yourself to absorb it so the only outcome would be the explosion of your body!”
Its words weren’t simply an alarm.
In order to absorb the intense energy, firstly intensity of the meridians was of utmost importance and secondly, that would depend on the practitioner’s grasp of cultivation methods.
The higher the grade of the cultivation method, the stronger it could direct the absorption of the energy. For example the Cloudy Qilin Clan’s Three Big Inheritances; even if it was a spiritual beast’s Profound Energy, there were hopes of merging it with that.
But, that was merely a hope….
Success of nor, it would still depend on the practitioner’s cultivation and innate talent.
