Chapter 1483: Mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind (3)
Li Moying faced so many high levelled magical beasts but he wasn’t the least flustered. The expression on his face turned graver as he started to work up the Profound Energy throughout his body, accumulating the power while waiting, like a taut bow.
The magical beasts seemed to sense the dangerous imposing manner which was extruding from him as they didn’t dare to make any unnecessary movements momentarily.
Both sides were at a standstill for a period of time and Luo Jiyun almost forgot to breathe as his heart was beating so fast that it almost jumped out.
Suddenly, the magical beasts seemed as though they had observed enough and losing their patience, they cried out “Ga Ga” several times and all of them pounced towards Li Moying at the same time!
Dark shadows in the sky were about to drown Li Moying’s body completely in a blink of an eye!
Under the enclosure of the huge wings from those magical beasts, Li Moying’s body seemed so tiny, as though it would be crushed to dust any time!
Luo Jiyun was so scared that he daren’t look, faltering as he shut his eyes.
But at the next moment, he heard miserable cries from the birds, ringing throughout the entire valley!
Luo Jiyun hastily opened his eyes as he saw bolts of lightning descend from the sky, turning the dark sky as bright as broad daylight! All the lightning converged into a piece of blue purplish lightning as it carried a powerful aura, gathering into a huge light ball in Li Moying’s hands.
Luo Jiyun’s heart was alarmed as he trembled in fear while looking at that light ball. Just looking at it alone, he was able to sense the shockingly terrifying energy contained in it.
Those flying magical beasts which were charging towards him sensed danger and their speed suddenly decreased as it flapped its wings hovering still in mid-air, as though it didn’t know if it should continue or proceed ahead.
However, Li Moying didn’t give them any chance to hesitate as the light ball in his hands had accumulated a vast amount of energy in an extremely short span of time!
Following that, his eyes were like electricity as he gave a sharp shout, throwing out that light ball towards that group of magical beasts!
The light ball shot to the front at an extremely swift speed, shocking those magical beasts so much that it all dispersed while escaping, but it was….too late for it to escape now!
The light ball had exploded in the middle of the magical beasts and the thunder attributed energy which was contained in it exploded in an instance!
A “Boom” sound reverberated and followed that were sharp cries and miserable shrieks from those flying magical beasts, as well as….
Luo Jiyun sniffed and somehow felt that he smelled the fragrance of roasted meat…..
Among the eight flying magical beasts, the two which were in the front were instantly heavily injured as it shrilled in shock while it fell into the valley.
Although the remaining six were slightly injured but they were all awed by Li Moying’s move as all of them scurried backwards in shock, not daring to get any closer.
But although they had all temporarily retreated, they did not leave at all, merely hiding in a slightly further place as all of them kept a watchful eye on Li Moying. The greed in their eyes had not lessened, instead it increased!
Evidentially, the huge thunder attributed energy which Li Moying lured had shocked them but on the other hand, it also attracted their lust!
Such powerful and pure energy was something which these magical beasts had hoped for in a long time!
Although it was dangerous but with such a huge temptation in front of their eyes, which of them could bear to leave like that?
Li Moying frowned slightly on seeing these magical beasts covetous lust in their eyes, he knew that things were not going to go well.
Earlier the energy which he had attracted was much stronger than before and later on there would be even more magical beasts which were attracted by it. In order to push them back, he would need to erupt an even stronger energy, which would continue to lure new magical beasts…..
If this continued, when would there be an end to it?
