Aifei raised her eyebrows disapprovingly. “What? Why are you staring at me like that?”

After work, Bai Sheng checked out of the office dejectedly. Gu Chengze was waiting for her at the building entrance as usual. Bai Sheng walked to the front passenger seat. Gu Chengze looked at her with a smile. However, when he saw that her expression did not look too good, his expression turned serious.
“What’s the matter?”
The look of disappointment on Bai Sheng’s face made his heart ache.
“Nothing.” Bai Sheng felt so heartbroken that she gave him a hug. She did not know if she was feeling sorry for him or herself. Her heart ached for him. He had clearly been working hard to be a good husband and had taken such good care of her. But now, for no reason, he had been slandered by her colleagues.
