What Yun Shishi didn’t know, was that this was because Xiangti Walk was heavily monitored by surveillance cameras, the car was parked in a remote area to avoid being seen.
Mu Xi explained, “This place is heavily guarded. No parking is allowed at the entrance.”
She quickly continued, “Shishi, let’s go or we’ll be late.”
Yun Shishi gradually developed some doubts, but it was Mu Xi, and she trusted the girl implicitly, so she pushed all doubts aside.
On the way there, the girl was rather silent. Yun Shishi was even more puzzled when she noticed that the girl was perspiring profusely and her hands were shaking.
“Mu Xi.”
“Uh huh?”
“You know what? You’re acting weird today.”
The assistant laughed dryly. “Weird? How so?”
“I can see from your expression that you’re distracted. Your hands are shaking, as though you’re feeling guilty about something.”
Yun Shishi came straight to the point.
Mu Xi’s heart skipped a beat.
Having noticed these things, Yun Shishi was even more convinced of her judgment. “Mu Xi, you’re hiding something from me.”
Mu Xi, who was already feeling guilty, felt her heart pounding at Yun Shishi’s remark. She turned her face away in avoidance. “Shishi, what are you talking about? What can I hide from you?”
“I wouldn’t be so curious if I knew.”
Suddenly, Yun Shishi asked, “Mu Xi, did something happen to you that you’re too embarrassed to say?”
“No…”
“I thought I should be someone you can most confidently trust.”
After a pause, she said slowly, “But, you rarely talk to me when you run into any difficulties. Is it because you don’t think I’m trustworthy?”
“Of course not!” Mu Xi retorted. “Shishi, don’t let your imagination run wild.”
“Mu Xi, I really want to help you.”
Yun Shishi smiled. “You know, I trust you a lot, so I want to be the person you trust too. Okay?”
Mu Xi stared at her in a daze. Looking into Yun Shishi’s gentle eyes, her heart wavered!
She clenched her fists tightly, her entire body trembling.
From not too far away, a black sedan slowly approached them.
Mu Xi heard the sound of a car engine and turned around to look at the license plate. When she realized that the person was here, her eyes darkened!
Yun Shishi turned around to look at the car and asked curiously, “Is it our car?”
The assistant kept silent.
The car pulled to a stop beside Yun Shishi. The door opened and two men in black suits alighted.
She retreated in surprise.
She was rather taken aback not because of the sudden appearance of the car, but because the two men had a cold, murderous aura!
It was as if they had come with ill intentions!
The two men walked up to Yun Shishi and said coldly, “Get in.”
His cold tone alarmed her. She took a few steps back and looked at Mu Xi, only to see the girl suddenly turn around to mouth something silently!

Yun Shishi frowned but did not get it.
“Mu Xi, what are you saying…”
Mu Xi gritted her teeth. Before she could walk towards her, the two men behind her had already closed in on her.
She eyed them warily. “What are you doing?!”
“Get in.”
“Who you are and where are you taking me?”
She looked at her assistant. “Mu Xi, who are they?”
