Bella glanced at Zhixin and said, “Zhixin, you go back to the office. I need to report some work to President Qin.”
“Okay.”
Without hesitation, Zhixin went to the elevator to get down to his office.
Bella walked back into Qin Chu’s office and told him the strange things she had experienced lately.
Qin Chu looked unsettled.
“Bella, did you tell anyone else about this?”
“No. You and Sister Mian told me to do it and I don’t trust anyone else… After all, Mom and Zhixin would never suspect Dad, oh, no, Jing De. So, I only told Sister Mian and you about it.”
“Did you tell Mian? When?”
Qin Chu looked tense.
“The day before yesterday when Sister Mian came to the company. I bumped into her in the office and told her about it.”
“What did she say?” Qin Chu seemed anxious to know Huo Mian’s response.
“She didn’t say much but that she got it.”
“Bella…”
Qin Chu began in a solemn tone.
“Yeah?”
“From now on, don’t tell Mian about Jing De. Report to me directly.”
“Huh? Why?”
Qin Chu’s words meant he didn’t trust Huo Mian; Bella couldn’t accept it since she was closer to Huo Mian.
Qin Chu saw her worry and explained, “Mian is low in spirits and I hope she can concentrate on her recovery and not get worried. If you tell her these things, she’ll lose her appetite and sleep from anxiety. I’ll handle this thing if you think you can trust me.”
“I understand, President Qin. I trust you; I’ll report to you directly.”
“Good.” Qin Chu nodded.
“Bella, you must be careful. Watch him closely. Meanwhile, ask Mom and Zhixin to be careful, too.”
“President Qin, who on earth is this Jing De? Do we have any clues?”

“President Qin, you’re going out?”

Gao Ran was waiting for him in a compartment; he had ordered lots of meat.

Qin Chu put a hand on the menu and said in a low voice, “Old Gao, I probably know… the suspect you’re looking for.”
“Fuck… You’re pulling my leg…” Gao Ran’s scalp tingled at this sudden information.
