“But they’ll find out we’re investigating them, so they’ll punish Su Yu.” Huo Mian now cried even harder. She took out her phone and opened that video.
She no longer dared to watch.
Su Yu was wounded by a gun. His body leaned forward and his face pale. It looked sad.
Qin Chu took over the phone and watched the video. His brows locked. He finally understood why Huo Mian was unwilling to actively tell him this.
It looked like the situation wasn’t that simple. It couldn’t be solved by secretly investigating.

“Honey.”

“Do my feet look like pig feet?” Huo Mian teased.
“No.”
Then he added, “Pig feet aren’t so fat…”
Huo Mian had stopped crying and started laughing. Qin Chu’s dry sense of humour, though rare and degrading, was always heartwarming.
“Honey, when the baby is born, will you still wash my feet?”
“No.”
“Hmph. So you are doing this for your son.” Huo Mian pretended to get mad.
“After you give birth, I’ll want to give you a whole shower.”
Huo Mian’s face grew bright red when he talked dirty to her.
Then Qin Chu complained, “This kid is making me wait for almost 10 months. I can’t hold it in any longer. After he’s born, you must compensate me… You will always shower with me so I can lather you in bodywash…”
Just thinking about that scene made his nose almost bleed.
Huo Mian mumbled shyly, “Who needs you to wash my body… It’s not like I don’t have hands…”
