Su Yu laughed even though he, too, found Nie Lingxuan was acting weird.

“Take this. It’s my reward for what you did a while ago.”
Su Yu thought Han Yueyao would be happy since she loved money. However, she froze as she saw the money.
She was surprised that Su Yu would repay her effort with money. At this moment, she had complicated feelings inside. Indeed, she needed money and wanted to earn lots of money, but she wasn’t a slave to money.
When she walked up and defended Su Yu, she wasn’t thinking of money, so she was surprised when he offered money to show his gratitude.
“Why do you look like this? Do you want more? I don’t have much cash with me. I’ll give you more later.”
Biting on her lip, Han Yueyao reached out her hand slowly and took the money.
