“What’s the rush? You’ll find out soon enough.” Huo Siqian continued to smile.
“Why can’t you just leave Mian alone!” Su Yu bellowed; he was fighting the urge to tear Huo Siqian up.
“What an interesting question, President Su. You can’t seem to leave Mian alone either. Are you really more noble than I am?”
“We’re different!” Su Yu roared.
“Don’t kid yourself. We’re the same. Don’t you want Mian for yourself? Don’t you want to be with her forever?”
“I…” Su Yu froze. Yes, he was madly in love with Huo Mian; it would be a lie if he said he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life with her. After all, love was the most selfish thing that existed in this world, or else his heart wouldn’t be in pain whenever he saw Huo Mian and Qin Chu together.
He had been brainwashing himself not to prey on what wasn’t his. However, he couldn’t control his feelings. Therefore, Huo Siqian was right on point; he really did punch Su Yu where it hurt.
“Enjoy what_s left of your time with Mian…you don’t have much left..”
“What are you planning to do?” Su Yu’s heart tightened.
“Don’t be so nervous. Mian is so smart, and you and Qin Chu have her well-protected. What could I do?”
“I’m warning you, don’t go anywhere near her… If I find out that you’re plotting something, I’ll feed you to the sharks…” Su Yu threatened.
“What if Mian approaches me and chooses me?” Huo Siqian asked.
“Never,” Su Yu immediately said.
“Nothing is impossible, Yu. Don’t be so sure.”
“Don’t try to act all mysterious with me, I don’t believe you. I’m not Shen Mingxi or Huo Yanyan, you can’t scare me like I’m a child.”
“Why would I? President Su, you’re too brave for me to scare. Let me say this though… if one day Mian voluntarily chooses me, you better not pick on me.”
“Don’t worry, you won’t live to see that day,” Su Yu said boldly.
“It’s okay, if I die, I’m taking her with me. I’m okay with that.”
“A person like you will rot in hell when you die… Mian will never end up with you, stop dreaming.”
“We’ll see. I trust that the game will only get more and more fun…”
Then, Huo Siqian tore away Su Yu’s hand, picked up a bowling ball, and threw it down the lane.
All ten pins fell to the ground…
Su Yu had no idea what Huo Siqian was going to do, but he had a feeling that it was going to be something big.
Furious beyond words could express, Su Yu stormed downstairs and back into his Lamborghini, his head swimming with what Huo Siqian just said.
“President Su, is everything okay?”
“It’s fine,” he replied with a grim expression.
At this time, Su Yu’s phone rang – it was from his mother.
“Mom, what’s up?” he asked.
“Come home for dinner, I made your favorite, sweet corn.”
Su Yu looked down at his watch and nodded. “Okay.”
“President Su, are you having dinner at your parents’? I can take the cab home,” An said as he pulled on Su Yu’s car door.
“It’s fine, come with me.”
“Um… I really shouldn’t,” An said, a little speechless.
“It’s fine, let’s go.”
Then, Su Yu made a U-turn and headed back to the Su Family mansion.
“You’re home, Young Master,” the maid greeted Su Yu politely as he walked through the door.
As he took off his shoes, he immediately noticed a woman he didn’t know sitting on his living room couch. She had extremely fair skin and long legs, and was wearing a white dress with suspenders.
