Just as Xixi was about to say something, there was a knock on the door.

Biting her lower lip, Xixi sat down beside Rick and took his hands. “Rick, you’ve already stayed with me for many days. I know that you have important business to handle. A lot of people are waiting for you. So, you should go. Although I want to snuggle with you every day too, I’m not that unreasonable.”
“It’s okay, don’t worry about it.” Rick took Xixi’s hands and comforted her.
“I’m serious. I don’t want to be your burden. I also won’t try to convince you to quit. I know that you were born into that environment and that a lot of things are not up to you, that quitting isn’t an easy feat.
