Lianxiang stepped in.
Gu Ruxue was very annoyed seeing that Lianxiang frightened Mrs. Gu. She glared at Lianxiang and said, “You are mom’s maid, so you have to be steady rather than frighten her!”
Lianxiang was confused. She hurried back after running the errand, knocked at the door and did nothing strange!
