Qin Mingjie paused. He respected his contestant. Although there was no rule saying that he could not eat some pill to help him, yet there was no rule saying that he could.
County Princess Anxi got displeased directly. “Oh yeah? There is no rule saying that pills are not allowed. You can eat some if you want to, but you don’t have any, so you don’t allow us to have any either.”
She looked nonchalant.
The audience also started to make discussions. “Yes, there is no rule saying that.”
Gu Chaoyan frowned slightly. She was not against him taking the pill, because no matter how many pills he took, she was still going to win, but… The pill County Princess Anxi gave to Qin Mingjie was not something ordinary.

Qin Mingjie laughed brightly. This girl must be concerned about him so she said something like that. He said happily, “Don’t worry, girl, my master will not harm me. We have been brewing wine for generations for our master, and they have been treating us well.”
Having said the words, he was about to eat it when Gu Chaoyan stopped him and grabbed the pill.
At the sight of the move, County Princess Anxi became completely furious. “What are you doing? You are stealing our pill because you are losing! Gu Chaoyan, you are not eating it directly right? If you do, you are a loser!” County Princess Anxi looked at Gu Chaoyan proudly. She assumed that Gu Chaoyan must have become so nervous because she was going to lose – she did not know how to drink at all.
Gu Chaoyan shook her head. With her eyes upon the pill, she said, “I am not eating this harmful thing.” Then she opened the pill, from which came a white worm.
Qin Mingjie’s eyes widened as he saw the worm. And those around him also gasped – how frightening! This pill was holding a worm!
“What is that?!” Sword One asked with a look of fright.
County Princess Anxi’s face changed as well.
Gu Chaoyan tossed the worm into the jar, and the wine was reduced at a high speed. Soon, one whole jar of wine was gone.
Everyone gasped with their eyes upon the worm in the jar.
“That is called the Wine Worm, kept by people from the Western Region. It is normally made into the shape of a pill, but if the worm stays in someone’s body, that person would become very good at drinking. If you keep on drinking, the worm will be fed and you can be fine. Once you stop, the worm will start to eat your inner organs, until you lose your life. Well, even if you keep on drinking the wine, you won’t end up being well either. You will still die in four or five days, and your inner organs will be eaten by the worms.” Gu Chaoyan stressed the harm the wine worm would possibly cause.
Then she turned to Qin Mingjie. “Are you sure you are eating this?”
