Min Qing looked even more embarrassed, when he saw how she looked at him.

It should not be a very major issue, it was just a minor misunderstanding, and he was just defending justice from his own point of view.

A few words, which hurt people deeply, but none of them thought it was worth caring about.

Gu Chaoyan headed to Begonia Yard as she thought about this.
There was still a thin layer of snow on the ground, and Gu Chaoyan left some shallow footprints there.
Chen Fu came to Begonia Yard to inform her that the Lin Family was here.

She asked Sword One to make some hot tea, prepared some snacks and waited as she ate some.

She sipped the tea and said calmly, “Uncle, Aunt, and Jiashu, please take a seat.”
The three of them got shocked as they sat down.

Because of this, she expected that the Lin Family should still have some hope to get something from her in the future. Lin Jiashu was also feeling very complicated.
Gu Chaoyan did expect to see the Lin Family here, because she had a few questions to ask them, which might be more familiar to Ms. Lin than her uncle.
“I got the list of my mother’s dowries before she got married a while back. And I already took possession of all of them, but when I moved into Begonia Yard yesterday, the soldiers carried out some stuff from here, which were printed with the symbol of the Lin Family. I have no idea where these come from, so I thought of asking you about it,” Gu Chaoyan said.
“Oh, well…” Lin Jiaxing said straightforwardly.
