Elder Miss had ordered that she should not be disturbed, as she was taking a break in the room. Sword One would not have passed on any messages about Officer Gu under such a condition. Elder Miss was the Phoenix Girl, and she had all the rights to turn down anyone she did not wish to meet.
However, Sword One still passed on the message, because her Elder Miss said that she would meet Officer Gu when he came to the door again.

Sword One was just thinking about this when the door of the room was opened. Gu Chaoyan appeared and Sword One was about to sort her clothes out when she found her neatly dressed. So she did not take a nap?

De Fu greeted them and smiled. “Lady Chaoyan, the King and Officer Gu are waiting for you at Qianqing Palace. Please, come with me.”
Gu Chaoyan nodded and followed De Fu.
De Fu was smiling brightly and happily.

The moment she walked in… Gu Zhenkang smiled brightly. So did the King, who forced a smile, which was more weird. The King still could not accept that Gu Chaoyan was the Phoenix Girl, but he had to treat her as one on the surface.

Gu Chaoyan had been offered a seat and hot tea, which was an order they gave earlier.
“Your father is in the court to see you. So you are here. Are you doing well at Xingsi Hall? If not, you can pick any place else in the whole court. Or you can get some more servants. You can’t always have so few.”

“If you don’t feel like living in the court, you can move back to the Gu Mansion. Your father mentioned this to me today. You can move back to the mansion and take some servants from the court.”
