1438 The Door to Enchantment 1
As the light shone, everyone else closed their eyes subconsciously, but Gu Chaoyan did not. She did not fear this strong light, but looked at the door to enchantment calmly, until it was opened completely.
People behind her slowly opened their eyes. They turned to the door to enchantment, hoping to see what was behind the door, but what greeted them was Gu Chaoyan who was standing at the door to enchantment. Dressed in a white blouse and covered by a white fox fur cloak.
She looked very skinny, but when she was standing in the light, it looked as if she was giving out the light herself. Everyone was transfixed as they looked at Gu Chaoyan.
Gu Chaoyan spotted what was behind the door. Nothing special was inside, except for just one exquisite jade sword.
Gu Chaoyan was surprised by this result.
One jade sword? What could it do?
Destiny Monk placed the door to enchantment and the Phoenix Girl at such a supreme position, but the result seemed quite different than anticipated.
Zhou Huailing saw the jade sword, too.
He believed that it was an important thing for it to be inside the door to enchantment. So he took a step forward and tried to take the jade sword down.
No one stopped him.
No officers or ministers dare to say a word to counter that. The King also wanted Zhou Huailing to touch it first. No matter what it was, it would always be useful.
Gu Chaoyan stood right on the spot and watched Zhou Huailing fetch it with extreme greed.
However, Zhou Huailing could not pick the sword up.

What was going on? He had used all of his strength to move the sword, but it simply refused to move.
