Lu Beixiao held his breath the entire time as Ye Qiao ate the stinky tofu with relish. When he was in a hunting school, he had eaten all types of leftover food but he still couldn’t stand stinky tofu. To him, it was just the absolute worst.
Ye Qiao didn’t eat all of it. She only took 4 pieces but there were 8 pieces left. She pushed them in front of Lu Beixiao.
“If you can’t finish them, then throw them away,” he said as he was about to throw them away. Ye Qiao gave him a sharp glare.
“You want me to eat them?” he shockingly said. His face turned pale.
Ye Qiao nodded with a poker face.

He knew she was deliberately making things hard for him.
“Baby, let’s talk about it…”
Before he finished speaking, she stood up and started to leave with an expressionless face.
“Okay, okay, okay, okay! I’ll eat it,” Lu Beixiao quickly said. While holding his breath, he picked up the stinky tofu piece by piece with a toothpick and stuffed it into his mouth.
He swallowed all of them in a hurry and gulped down water.
Expressionless, Ye Qiao made a peace sign towards him when she saw him finished everything.

As soon as they returned to the house, Lu Beixiao rushed to brush his teeth. He wanted to drag her along but ye Qiao shook his hand off.
She ignored him and plopped herself in front of the new TV.
In a short while, Lu Beixiao had brushed his teeth, showered and changed his clothes. After that, he squatted down in front of Ye Qiao whom was sitting on the sofa.
“Baby, be good. Don’t watch anymore, okay?” he said as he grabbed the remote control but Ye Qiao quickly grabbed it back and continued watching.
Lu Beixiao took a new approach and he stood in front of her to block her view.
Ye Qiao glared at him, got up and pushed him aside and continued watching the television. ‘The Legend of the White Bride’ was playing and she loved watching that series even in her previous life.
Her eyes were fixed on the TV and she completely ignored Lu Beixiao.
Lu Beixiao couldn’t stop her from watching so he walked to the TV and turned it off.
Ye Qiao held up the remote to turn it back on but Lu Beixiao stood in front of the signal receiver so she wouldn’t be able to. She got angry and threw the remote control on the sofa. She stood up and shouted, “Lu Beixiao! You bastard. You spanked me in front of so many people making me lose my dignity and you still think you did nothing wrong?!”
“There were women there! Some who even look up to you. Now, they’ve seen you spank me like some child. How could I ever live with that embarassment?!” she continued shouting.
Her expression was like that of an angry lion.
Lu Beixiao felt happy hearing her speak. He smiled and walked towards her. Ye Qiao became even angrier after seeing his smile.
“Don’t come near me!” she said as she picked up a pillow and threw at him.
The pillow hit him dead on but it was just a pillow. It didn’t hurt at all. Ye Qiao continuously threw pillows at him as he slowly approached her.
Ye Qiao tried to avoid him as he came closer. She ran around the sofa to avoid him.
“Baby, be careful. Don’t fall!” he reminded her with a smile.
“Lu Beixiao! Stop! Don’t move! If you move again, I’ll… I’ll fall on purpose for you to see!”
There was nothing she could threaten him with so she decided to use herself to threaten him.
After hearing Ye Qiao threaten him, he stood there obediently and not chase her around the sofa. He watched her lovingly.
