Lu Beichi was infuriated. In his mind, he had already utilized the skills Bill Rizer had used in Contra to beat Li Yun up!
“Lu Beichi! Return the picture to me! Who I like is none of your business!” Li Yun said angrily, glaring at the photo in Lu Beichi’s hands.
“Who you like is none of my business!? But if the person who you like is my brother, it is my business! This photo is mine now!” Lu Beichi looked at Li Yun in despair.
“Lu Beichi, are you saying that Li Yun likes your brother, Lu Beixiao?” Ye Qiao stood up, turned around, and looked towards Lu Beichi.
When everyone heard Lu Beixiao’s name, they gasped.
Although not everyone had met Lu Beixiao, everyone had heard of his legendary stories.
He was the boys’ idol and the girls’ Prince Charming! They could not blame Lu Beichi for getting mad! They were mad too!
“Yeah! It’s written on the back of this photo!” Lu Beichi confirmed.
“Li Yun, you’re so fake. Who was the one who insulted Lu Beixiao in front of me every day? Who was the person who asked me to stay away from him? Yet, you were secretly in love with him!” Ye Qiao teased.
“Moreover, you always talk bad about Lu Beichi to me, and told me to go against him!” Ye Qiao added, indirectly telling Lu Beichi that she was only so mean to him because of Li Yun!
The class gasped again. Li Yun was truly… remarkable!
Lu Beichi finally understood why Ye Qiao always opposed him back then.
“I… I…” Li Yun was speechless.
“Be quiet! Li Yun! Get out, now! Lu Beichi! Go back to your seat!” The teacher could not stand this chaos anymore. She slammed the table and shouted at the class.
Biechi glared at Li Yun and added a scathing remark, “My brother would not even look at someone like you!”
Li Yun wanted to take the picture back, but she knew that it was impossible, so she hurried up and packed her belongings.
The love letters she received were scattered all over the floor, but her classmates could not be bothered with her anymore.
After Li Yun left, the class returned to normal, and Ye Qiao returned her focused on her exam preparation.

Lu Beichi took the photo out of his textbook and gave it to her.
She immediately spotted him among the 50-60 students in the photo. “Xiao looked so young…”
Young and wild, in fact. He was wearing a basketball jersey, and his hair was longer than it is now.
“Ye Qiao, are you just going to let Li Yun off like that? How about Shen Xichuan? He’s so scared that he didn’t come to school for the past few days! What a coward! Was something wrong with your brain back then?” Lu Beichi said in despise.
Ye Qiao rolled her eyes at him, “Something is wrong with YOUR brain! Your sister-in-law, me, had been framed by evil people! I am busy studying now, so I do not have the time to deal with them! Anyway, based on my knowledge of Li Yun, she would not give up this easily! I’ll just play by ear for now! In the meantime, I am going home to study. Bye!”
“Hey! Ye Qiao, you’re really quite hardworking these days, but your shitty grades…”
“Lu Beichi! You better take your words back. Otherwise, when the results are out, you’re going to be embarrassed!” Ye Qiao interrupted him without even looking back.
