Chapter 510 - Hidden Lurker's Unchanging Personality

“?” Hidden Lurker and the rest immediately turned back upon hearing this, only to see a group of ice giant beasts had already crawled up to them.

“F*ck! That’s dirty!” Hidden Lurker and the rest cried upon seeing the situation.

They thought that Wang Yu had already dealt with these creatures, but who knew that they could climb up again.

The ice giant beasts had large bodies and moved slowly, their speed only increased while they charged forward. Who knew that such slow creatures would possess such a high aggro duration. The aggro drawn also caused a chain reaction, there were now at least 20 beasts here.

Even though Hidden Lurker knew that the aggro was focused on Wang Yu, Nian Liuyun’s acupuncture points were still sealed there. No matter what, the one who would die wouldn’t be Wang Yu… Hidden Lurker had to give the command to attack.

Wang Yu smiled as he saw the creatures begin their fight with Hidden Lurker and evaded the fight, escaping the mountain from another side.

As for Nian Liuyun, Wang Yu was not worried. The duration of sealing of acupuncture points had a direct correlation with the acupuncture point itself. The Lingtai acupuncture point was one of the most important acupuncture points, but the sealing duration was only a mere 10 seconds, Nian Liuyun had already regained some control over his body.

After all, Nian Liuyun was a practitioner of martial arts. Moreover, he had a hidden job that specialised in PVP situations. If not for Wang Yu’s sudden moves, he would not have lost that easily. Nian Liuyun’s abilities were also a lot stronger than that of a normal player, it wouldn’t have been hard for him to take care of those creatures.

<Sacred Snow Lotus: Forge of Ice, can only be plucked two at once. 30 second waiting time in between plucking each flower. Effect of obtaining one is death removal.>

Looking at the Sacred Snow Lotus in his bag, Wang Yu ran down the mountain and immediately ran towards the harbour. But when he reached there, he was stunned.

Titan City was a frontier city, the airships that came by were far and few. The fastest one to the Elf City was at least an hour later… while the spawning time in between two lotuses was 30 minutes.

Wang Yu now understood that this quest forced players of the two opposite sides to kill each other. Otherwise, because of the timing of arrival for the airships, the leading team would lose out. In order to take the lead unequivocally, one had to get rid of the opposition.

The entry pass quest could only be done once, if Wang Yu had gotten rid of Nian Liuyun back on the mountain, he would have lost all rights to ascend the mountain, which would cause Nian Liuyun to lose all chances of completing the quest.

But Wang Yu had a good impression of Nian Liuyun so he did not want him to lose his chances of completing the quest.

The players at the harbour were all super fans of Nian Liuyun. The conditions around Titan city were harsh, none of the players really wanted to find quests to do, most of them just wanted to get a glimpse of Nian Liuyun.

Whether they were true fans or not, Wang Yu did not know, but he knew that they wanted to leave this place but couldn’t.

After seeing Wang Yu return, the players crowded around him like bees, they had all heard of what had happened, how could they let him go easily?

“You must be Iron Bull, how powerful do you think you are as compared to our Great God Liuyun?”.

“Maybe he’s a 70%?”.

“I don’t think he’s even 30% as good as Liuyun… look what happened back there…”.

Because they had all seen Liuyun fight before, and also because that Knight had praised him beyond measure, everyone here thought that he was the undisputed most powerful one. Wang Yu was just the scared chicken behind him to them.

The crowd discussed Wang Yu’s powerful level constantly. As Wang Yu stood there, he finally understood why Nian Liuyun had such a bitter expression on his face, it was hard to be a public figure.

Of course, Wang Yu did not bother to entertain them. He found a quiet place to sit down and pretended to admire the scenery.

“Saw that? He’s scared beyond measure, he can’t even reply us…” one of the fans said.

“F*ck you…” Wang Yu thought to himself.

Everyone knew that insulting was only a game for two, if one of them did not respond, it would not be interesting at all.

Some of them gave up asking Wang Yu upon seeing that he wasn’t responsive, but some still continued pestering him.

Wang Yu was getting annoyed as his eyelids twitched, only to realise that these few people were the same few whom asses he had kicked from the United Alliance.

So there was a scheme in place… everything made sense now.

“Alright you guys, it’s okay if you scold me, but in terms of shamelessness, no one can compare to you guys,” Wang Yu said as he pointed at the two Assassins who had lured the monsters.

“You still have the guts to say such things? Master Liuyun spared you out of kindness and yet you still lured monsters in, are you that shameless?” the four men cried out.

The four of them were in on the scheme, they had already prepared what to say in case Wang Yu said what he had just said.

What they had said was not wrong but they were the ones who had lured the monsters in. Wang Yu merely capitalised on the situation.

“I didn’t know people here can twist the facts like this?” Wang Yu said.

Wang Yu was never good with words and he knew he could never beat these four men in a war of words… especially since they came prepared.

Hearing that Wang Yu had treated their idol with such little care, the people around all turned angry, pointed their fingers at Wang Yu and scolded him.

“Alright enough! Stop it!” Wang Yu glared at the four from the United Alliance.

The four of them had seen how powerful Wang Yu was, they stumbled a few steps backwards and said, “There’s so many of us here, what are you going to do?”.

By using the inclusive pronoun ‘we’, the four of them had pulled the crowd together as a single entity, they wanted to use their help to get rid of Wang Yu.

“Nothing, I’m just tired. I’ll take a walk!” Wang Yu said as he sprinted off.

Seeing that Wang Yu had suddenly rushed over, the two tanks held their shields in an attempt to block him. Wang Yu smiled as he rushed past them and disintegrated.

“Shit, it’s a clone!” the two tanks gasped.

Wang Yu’s real body had already passed them by. He reached out and grabbed the two assassins behind the two tanks.

His left hand was on one of their throats, his other hand was on the other guy’s skill. With a crack, the two assassins were smothered into white light.

The two tanks desperately turned around as a long spear appeared before piercing through the both of them…
