Chapter 720: A High Technology Medicine Maker
Huo Yao found her things in the storeroom which had been placed in the backyard before long.
The object was inside a cardboard box and rather small in size. After she brought it into the living room, she opened the box without hesitation and pulled out a stove that was around the size of a mini rice cooker.
Huo Yulin raised his head and looked surprised when he saw his little sister’s device. He stood up and walked over. “What is this?”
It was a flat, oval, metallic machine with a unique design. There was a touchscreen in the middle, but there were no buttons. Based on his extensive knowledge of smart devices, this definitely looked like it was extremely high technology.
Huo Yulin had never seen such an apparatus in his life. Even though he was involved in the field of research, his little sister’s device looked even more high-end than all his professional equipment.
No wonder Old Madam Yang called it strange. She had described it perfectly.
Huo Yao took the stove and inspected it as she replied. “It is a portable all-in-one medicine maker.”
“A medicine maker?” Huo Yulin looked curious. “How is it different from the one you have at home?”
Huo Yao said, “This one is more convenient and efficient.”
Even though it was important to study the forefathers’ medicine-making technique, it was inevitable for some ancient apparatus to end up getting replaced with technology so that people could move with the times.
Huo Yulin glanced at the device and said, “Is this for sale in the market?”
Huo Yao raised her brow and shook her head softly.
She had spent a pretty penny to make this device after spending a lot of time and energy researching it, so it was the one and only medicine maker in the world.
Huo Yulin was even more intrigued by his little sister. According to Uncle Changfeng’s investigations, his little sister ought to be just an ordinary girl.
Also, the things Old Madam Yang told him about Huo Yao’s childhood sounded rather normal.
Huo Yao didn’t pay attention to her third older brother’s reaction. A thought crossed her mind as she looked at the medicine maker. She quickly picked it up and said, “I’m going upstairs. Can you chat with Granny?”
The moment she finished her sentence, she hurried upstairs without waiting for Huo Yulin to answer.
Huo Yulin watched her hurry upstairs. For some reason, he suddenly felt his little sister might have tricked him.
His little sister had happily agreed when he asked if he could join her on the trip. Did she allow him to come along so that he could hang out with Old Madam Yang?
In the next few days, Huo Yulin’s hypothesis was eventually proved right.

Huo Yao researched for two days before she finally figured out how to effectively use Seven Leaf Lotus. However, she was short of some Chinese medicine, so she ordered it from Cloud Realm.
Cloud Realm was very efficient at delivering goods. Regardless of the location and accessibility, all its goods would get delivered punctually the second day.
Huo Yao received a notification informing her that the package was here first thing in the morning.
She went downstairs and wanted to put on her shoes when Huo Yulin came into the yard with breakfast. He was dressed in a thick down jacket making him look less skinny.
Since the temperature had been dropping recently, the wind was strong and felt icy cold.
“Are you going somewhere?” asked Huo Yulin when he saw her taking out a pair of shoes.
Huo Yao nodded. “I am expecting a package and the delivery guy is waiting for me in the alley.”
Huo Yulin took a look outside and handed her breakfast. “It is freezing outside. I will collect it for you. I already know my way around.”
