He just couldn’t help it because his younger sister liked him.
Staring at Leng Yuxi’s tear-stained face, he couldn’t help but ask, “Yuxi, must you really marry Huo Xishen?”
Leng Yuxi nodded and said, “Yes, I must marry Huo Xishen, I’ve already made my mind up to be with him.”
“But he’s already married.”

Just as they were about to get inside the car, a person dressed in waiter’s clothing scurried over and said, “Please wait a moment, Mr. Huo.”
“Mr. Huo, Old Master wants to meet you.”
‘Old Master?’
Yan Jinyi couldn’t help but look at Huo Xishen. ‘He should be the father of the oddball siblings.’

He raised his thick brows and looked her in the eye as he asked the question.

He pursed his lips and took a large step forward. “Show me the way.”
The waiter quickly bowed to Yan Jinyi before hurriedly walking in front of Huo Xishen.
“Second Sister-in-law, the Huo family is still in a good position, it’s okay not to go.”
Yan Jinyi poked Huo Qingyuan’s face and asked, “You think I’m afraid of offending the Bai family?”
Huo Qingyuan seemed to be asking with her eyes, ‘Is it not?’
“Your Second Brother said that he’s going to clarify things and make his stand clear to them, lest they accuse me when I teach them a lesson in the future.”
Huo Qingyuan came to a sudden realization. ‘Second Sister-in-law is so vicious!’
‘Second Brother must have directly rejected or even warned Leng Yuxi. When Leng Yuxi or the Bai family comes confronting Second Sister-in-law using Second Brother as a reason, Second Sister-in-law would be able to teach her a lesson using the excuse of “being harassed and threatened”.
Yan Jinyi looked around and pointed to the fountain not far away. “I’ll go there for a while, call me when your Second Brother is out.”

“Hey, this lady seems to be a stranger. Who are you…” Leng Yuxi asked, pretending to be confused when she saw Yan Jinyi.
Yan Jinyi rolled her eyes without saying anything.
