Little Miss Devil: The President’s Mischievous Wife Chapter 391

Chapter 391

When Lu Xinyi left the competition arena, she hurriedly went to meet her husband in the hallways. Running at full speed, she found him talking with Tang Shui and President Liu.

“President Shen!” Lu Xinyi tackled her husband, and Shen Yi grunted after feeling the impact behind him.

“Xinxin, why are you running in the hallway? Are you a kid? Aren’t you afraid you’ll hurt yourself?” Shen Yi turned around to face her and chastised her.

“Nope.” Lu Xinyi grinned, which made her husband facepalm from her childlike actions. Ah, why was she always like this when he wanted her to be serious?

The other students watching the scenes started gossiping at the corner as they watched Shen Yi placing a hand on Lu Xinyi’s waist to pull her closer. It seemed like the rumors between them as being lovers were true all along.

Tang Shui laughed behind Shen Yi getting Lu Xinyi’s attention. It was only then she remembered that Shen Yi wasn’t alone. She instantly pulled away from her husband and acted decently.

“Hello, Director Tang, President Liu. Please don’t mind my earlier actions. I was just teasing, President Shen,” She laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of her nape.

“No harm done, Miss Lu. We were just congratulating President Shen for winning this round again,” Tang Shui assured her.

The old man was standing tall without hunching over unlike the other men his age that had forgotten what it felt like to move freely and without pain. His old age hadn’t diminished his manliness that women adored during his younger years.

Lu Xinyi like how Tang Shui’s eyes shone bright like it concealed beautiful stories he gathered from his years.

“Yes, Miss Lu. This old man doesn’t mind it.” President Liu regarded Lu Xinyi with a Cheshire smile. “It seemed like our Yan Chen has to learn more if he wants to beat you.”

“Hehe, President Liu is too kind. It’s already hard for me to beat Yan Chen whenever we’re having written exams. Your family’s Yan Chen is good at formulating theories and applying his observations during our cooking demo. This one should be the one who needs to burrow her head and to learn more.”

“Hahaha, Shen Yi, I like her. No wonder you choose her.” President Liu patted Shen Yi’s back.

“Grandpa should just recruit Miss Lu on our side.” A young boy of six appeared next to President Liu with cold, round eyes staring back at Lu Xinyi. Black hair strands framed his handsome chubby face.

The old man chuckled and ran his fingers over the boy’s messy hair.

“Liu Jinfei, that isn’t right to say to your Auntie,” President Liu said.

“Auntie?” The boy called Liu Jinfei was confused. He shook his head and frowned. “I don’t want my Cooking Goddess to be my aunt!” He then stared up to Lu Xinyi, his eyes wide as if he’d seen his idol.

“Miss Lu, how old are you?”

“Twenty-five.” Lu Xinyi replied, not sure what it was about. ρꪖꪕᦔꪖꪕꪫꪣꫀꪶ

“Please wait for Jinfei to grow up, and then I will marry you!”

Shen Yi’s right eye twitched once he heard what the boy said. How dare this brat covet after his wife?!

Lu Xinyi laughed before nudging her husband’s side, informing him not to scare the boy away. Shen Yi glared back, not impressed that even a boy would dare to compete for his wife’s attention.

“Haha…”—she laughed awkwardly—”but I will be old when you reached your age to marry.”

“I don’t care. Marry to our Liu family. My family will treat you well. Whatever President Shen can give you, we’ll double the price,” Liu Jinfei insisted.

This was the second time he’d seen Lu Xinyi. The first was during the entrance examination. The young boy was captivated by Lu Xinyi’s Snow White Devil’s Food Cake and had been bugging his parents and Grandpa to convince Lu Xinyi to make him one.

Lu Xinyi was speechless from Liu Jinfei’s words. Had all the rich kids act this way? It was really… disturbing.

“Cough, cough,” Shen Yi coughed twice behind Lu Xinyi, reminding the boy of his presence. “Brat, you dare to steal my wife?”

“Wife? Aren’t you too old for my Cooking Goddess, President Shen?” The boy countered.

“Why, you…” Shen Yi could feel a vein on his head ready to pop. He was half-tempted to give this boy a smack on his head.

“Now, now, hubby,” Lu Xinyi held Shen Yi’s arm, trying to pacify him. “Liu Jinfei is just a kid. How can he give me something only you can give?”

The naughty smile on his wife’s face made Shen Yi curious.

“What is it?” he asked.

Lu Xinyi motioned him to lean down so she could whisper to his ear. Shen Yi lowered his head, lessening the distance between them. She whispered some words that only he could hear before pulling away with a wide grin on her face.

“Cough, cough.” Shen Yi coughed twice again. There was a slight blush on his cheeks, and his ears were burning red. Both Tang Shui and President Liu could only assume what were the words spoken to him.

“Of course, it is only I that can give it to you and no one else.” Shen Yi fought the blush on his face and looked away before taking Lu Xinyi’s hand to his. “We should go.”

After bidding goodbye to Tang Shui and President Liu, the couple left the campus, heading home together. Once their figures disappeared to the crowd, Tang Shui laughed amusedly.

“Ah, young love. It’s so nice to be young.”

“What is it that President Shen could give, but we couldn’t?” Liu Jinfei was annoyed that the elders had ignored him again. His Cooking Goddess was once again taken by the evil demon king!

“Ah… that… Jinfei, you’ll understand once you grow up.” President Liu picked up the boy, not sure how should he explain what could transpire between a man and a woman but decided not to. Their little Liu Jinfei was still too young for birds-and-bees talk anyway.
