Little Miss Devil: The President’s Mischievous Wife Chapter 339

Chapter 339

Shen Yi was livid. His wife was nowhere to be found. It was also hard not to contain his simmering anger when his own family asked him to calm down as they try to find his missing wife. How could he not be angry when Lu Xinyi was abducted right under his nose by her own brother?

He notified Qiao He at once that Lu Xinyi was missing. His capable assistant readied their team and connections to check the whereabouts of their missing Young Madam. It had been three hours since Tian Lingyu took Lu Xinyi in front of Lunar Residence, and yet no one from his team was able to find where she could be.

His phone rang. Shen Yi picked it up and answered hoping that they found Lu Xinyi.

“Sir! We just found the location of the car they used! They’re driving down the southern provinces. They were still on the main road.”

“Is Lu Xinyi alright?”

“She doesn’t seem hurt, Sir. Although Young Madam seems very angry from what I could see from the security videos.”

“Alright.”

Shen Yi released a breath he didn’t know he was holding. He knew for a fact that Tian Lingyu would not harm Xinxin, but when he heard that she was okay, he felt much better with the assurance that she was fine.

He then looked up from his phone.

“Where’s the special class having their training camp next week?” He asked Qiao He.

“At Jiang City, Sir.”

“What it has something to do where they’re going?” Shen Xue asked while their father waited patiently for the updates.

Shen Yi then prepared to leave, but his younger brother decided to come with him.

“Take me with you! I’m sure Tian Lingyu isn’t alone when he took Big Sis. You need back up!” Shen Xue insisted. He sounded like a whining child, but he didn’t care. It was rare to see his brother this angry, and he wasn’t sure if Shen Yi could hold himself from killing Tian Lingyu.

“You aren’t coming with us. I have Qiao He to check at my back.” Shen Yi groaned in frustration.

“But you’ve just left some work for him to finish! How could he finish all those phone calls and schedule if you are bringing him with you? He stays here. I’ll go with you.” Shen Xue retorted.

“Xue….” Shen Yi started dangerously, but Shen Xue refused to back down.

“Jiang City? Ah, then let us come with you! That’s our hometown, and I can call someone to prepare our stay.” Kang Wei decided to join the fun.

“Kang Wei, we aren’t going to have a vacation—I’m retrieving my wife,” Shen Yi gritted his teeth. Every second he wasted with them meant that Lu Xinyi was getting farther than his reach.

“I know, but I know the place better.” Kang Wei knew how Shen Yi came up with the idea of Tian Lingyu taking Lu Xinyi at the Jiang City.

He was still a good brother after all of what he’d done to Lu Xinyi. Of course, Tian Lingyu wouldn’t put his sister’s studies on the line. He was taking her to a place where Shen Yi wouldn’t be able to disturb them. Or so he thought.

“This isn’t a field trip,” Shen Yi finally snapped, but his friend and his brother refused to be left out.

“Fine.” Shen Yi surrendered. They had to leave soon. “I’m not going to drive so you and Xue could alternate. As much as I want to get a plane, this kind of weather wouldn’t allow us to travel safely.

“Sounds reasonable,” Kang Wei nodded in agreement. He checked his watch and saw it was past eight. “We need to go.”

“I don’t mind driving,” Shen Xue said. “You’ll need to take a rest. You need your strength once we arrived.”

Shen Yi tossed the key of his car to his father and took a seat at the back of his car. He closed his eyes, but his mind was in a mess.

“Xinxin… I’m coming to get you…”

Shen Xue turned his car at the next exit. They’d been driving for hours in this rainy night, and they needed a break. It was already ten in the evening. While Shen Yi fell asleep at the backseat, Kang Wei estimated that they’d reached Jiang City in under an hour.

“Hehe, I can’t believe he fell asleep,” Shen Xue took a glimpse of his brother from the mirror.

“Let him rest. It must be stress. Your brother was really working hard recently, and it doesn’t help that someone took his little wife when he finally has time to rest and enjoy the weekend with her.” ρꪖꪕᦔꪖꪕꪫꪣꫀꪶ

“I’m surprised though that you are willing to accompany my brother at this time.” Shen Xue laughed as he parked the car so that they could fill up the gas.

“Hey! Don’t say that! Yi is my best friend, my best pal! Even if he refused to agree, he’s a brother to us!”

“But your group hasn’t been complete for years. How long has it been?” Shen Xue asked. It was a wonder how his brother able to keep his circle of friends with the attitude he has.

“About six years?” Kang Wei said, “You are right, we haven’t seen each other for ages. Maybe I should call our brothers overseas now that it’s only three months before Yi celebrates his thirty-first birthday.”

He then checked if Shen Yi was still asleep. Yep, he should better make some preparations for their reunion.

“Xinxin, wake up. We’ve arrived.” Tian Lingyu gently nudged his sister to wake up.

Lu Xinyi groaned and slowly opened her eyes. She sat from her lying position and stretched her arm forward.

“Hmmm? Where are we?” She rubbed the sleep off her eyes and blinked several times to clear the focus of her eyes. She checked the blinking digital clock on the car’s dashboard. It was already past midnight.

Her brother helped her stepped out of the car and looked around.

“We are at a local hot spring inn,” Tian Lingyu said, “Come, Shenghao had already get inside to check us in. This is also near the place where you are taking your training camp soon. I already brought you ahead so don’t worry about missing out on something.”

“I’m not worried about that,” Lu Xinyi grinned, “I’m worried who you’ll save your ass from my husband’s temper.”

Tian Lingyu groan and ran his fingers on his hair. “Still thinking that he will find you soon?”

“Ah, I’m glad that my wife believe that I can find her anywhere she hides.” The sudden cold voice that joined their conversation made Tian Lingyu stay where he was standing. He could feel the hair at the back of his neck reacting to those words.

Lu Xinyi turned her head to the direction where the voice was coming from, and her face broke into a huge smile. There he was, her demon king at the entrance of the inn, leaning at the doorway, waiting for them to arrive. Behind him was Huang Shenghao who was rubbing the back of his head with an awkward smile.

“You came for me!” She ran toward her husband, throwing her full weight against his body as she wrapped her arms around him. Shen Yi groaned as his little spitfire of a wife decided to smash her body against his.

“Did you doubt me for one second?” His hand reached to her head and patted it.

“Of course not! I know you will find me!” Lu Xinyi smiled at Shen Yi.

“Won’t you introduce me to your brother? See, we should have avoided this problem if you just let him meet me sooner.”

Lu Xinyi pouted and released him.

“I don’t mind you beating Yu Gege’s ass into a pulp! He’s a mean brother!”

“Xinxin! How can you say that to your own brother?” Tian Lingyu gasped.

“Stupid brother! What type of idiot will kidnapped his own sister just to reunite with her? Oh, yeah! My stupid brother that is! After refusing to answer my calls and emails for months, he would show himself by abducting me at the school grounds!”

“Okay, that was my fault, but I didn’t know you were planning to attend Silver Leaf. I’m also surprised to see your best friend in the academy.” Tian Lingyu defended himself, but for others, it seemed he was losing this argument to his sister.

“That fucking bitch isn’t my best friend. Of course, you wouldn’t know. My best friend just slept with my ex-boyfriend. How cliche could it get than that?” Lu Xinyi said sarcastically.

“What? Yuan Jin and your ex sleep together?” Tian Lingyu asked confusedly.

The horror and the sudden mental scene that crossed to Shen brothers were almost enough to make them puked. Gosh, what the hell was wrong with Lu Xinyi’s brother?

Tian Lingyu was surprised to see his sister running towards him full of rage.

“What the hell, Yu Gege! I really hate you right now. Don’t give us such mental scarring images! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Lu Xinyi punched his chest, but he never stopped her. Even he was confused as to why she was angry with him.
