The next day, we started our travel towards Shia’s old home.
While leaving the mansion, Philly, Milka, Eric, Goran, and Dorgo saw us off at the door.
“Well, I’m sure you’ll be safe, but don’t let your guard down.”
“Don’t worry.”
“Locke. Give my regards to Danton.”
“I will. Also, Eric and Goran. Look after Philly and Milka while I’m away.”
“Leave it to us. I will keep an eye on them.”
My mansion was very close to the palace if you used the secret passage.
I would be very relieved if Eric made sure they were okay.
I gave Philly and Milka communication bracelets as well.
“If something happens, call me with this.”

After that, we walked to the outskirts of the royal capital.
As we were quite a crowd, the guards were surprised at first, but they let us through.
Then we walked a little further until there was some distance between us and the city.

Serulis and Luchila looked embarrassed as Kathe started to get undressed.
“Turn around Mister Locke!”
When I turned around, Grulf also turned around.
Adventurers usually didn’t care about nudity.
When on the road, people often had to change and bathe in the same place.
As a B-Rank Adventurer, Shia did not react. Neither did Nia.
Perhaps it was because Nia was raised among so many other Adventurers.
“Hmm? Why are you so flustered, Serulis?”
Kathe said to her dumbly.
“To get naked in front of a man! It is a disgrace!”
“Is that so? It must be tough being human.”
“You must be careful when in human form!”
“Alright. I understand.”
Kathe seemed satisfied enough with this.
And then she turned into a dragon.
“Mister Locke. It’s fine now.”
“Got it.”
“Groof!”
Kathe was covering her face with her hands.
“This-this is so embarrassing.”
“But you are a dragon.”
“Bu-but…”
“And we’ve already seen you as a dragon.”
“It got embarrassing when I started thinking about it.:
“…I see.”
I didn’t quite understand dragons. But I’m sure I’d get used to it.
And with that, we got onto Kathe’s back.
It wasn’t the first time that Shia, Nia, Grulf, And Lord Gerberga had ridden on her.
Though, Shia and Nia still looked a little nervous. Grulf was quick and careful as he climbed up.
“It’s your first time, isn’t it Luchila and Serulis?”
“Ye-yes.”
“Oh, yes.”
“Just say if you need any help climbing up.”
“I’m fine!”
Serulis hopped up and pulled herself to the top.
She was strong because she trained every day.
“It’s probably hard for you, Luchila?”
“I’m sorry.”
I picked up Luchila while Lord Gerberga was perched on my shoulder. Then I got onto Kathe’s back.
“Now, you are all on. I am going to fly now so hold on tight to my scales.”
Kathe rose into the air a little slower than usual.
She was being considerate of Luchila and Serulis.
And then she slowly gained speed as she flew.
“AHHH!”
Luchila clutched my arm in terror.
Serulis also looked very tense as she held on to the scales.
Shia and Nia also looked a little nervous.
“Do you know where it is, Kathe?”
“Of course, I do. I saw it on a map.”
We were traveling slowly by Kathe’s standards. By the time twenty minutes had passed, we could see lots of people below us.
There were probably about 500 in all.
There were old people and children too. It wasn’t just warriors.
“Is that…”
“It is the beastkin tribe.”
“Your tribe is that big, Shia?”
“No, ours is about 100 people… Perhaps neighboring tribes have come as well.”
“They must have come to greet us!”
Shia and Nia smiled.
“I’m going to land now!”
So saying, Kathe slowly started to descend.
Danton stood in front of the crowd of people and waved happily.
