At that thought, Su Yang could not help but slow down. He pondered for a moment before he said, “Tang Jing… I…”
Tang Jing interrupted him before he could finish, “I don’t have any other motives, don’t get the wrong idea. Do you still remember the Ferrari that you left at my place?”
Su Yang quickly replied, “Yes, I remember.”
Tang said gently, “The thing is… I can’t continue to help you store it here anymore, so I’m going to need you to find another place to park it as soon as possible. Unfortunately… It’s rather inconvenient for me to help you store your car at the moment.”
“After all, it’s an expensive car, I can’t just have it parked casually.”
Su Yang furrowed his brows when he heard Tang Jing’s words. He wasn’t unhappy because Tang Jing refused to help him store his car any further, but he felt that… something was wrong with Tang Jing.
‘Tang Jing has always been a gentle person. It’s in her personality to rarely use terms to urge or force someone to do something.
‘The first half of her sentence had been said with her normal tone, but the second half sounded very urgent. Is there… something wrong with her?’
Su Yang did not bother to find the answer to his question. Instead, he asked, “Tang Jing, have you gotten into some kind of trouble?”
Tang Jing paused for a moment, then said with a smile in her tone, “What trouble could possibly happen to me? You’re imagining things.”
Su Yang pondered for a while. ‘I suppose it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to ask any further since she’s already said so. I should probably wait until tomorrow when I visit her house to find out what’s going on.
‘However, since Tang Jing has already asked me to take the car away, I should get Pan Zhaodi to get it done immediately instead of delaying it.’
As he thought about that, Su Yang informed Tang Jing that he had instructed his secretary to retrieve the car.
Initially, Su Yang thought that Tang Jing would be unhappy if he did not retrieve the car himself. However, when she heard that Su Yang would be arranging for someone to retrieve the car that morning, she agreed readily.
This made Su Yang even more certain that something had happened to Tang Jing…
After hanging up, Su Yang called Pan Zhaodi.
As Su Yang’s secretary, Pan Zhaodi was on standby almost everyday, 24/7. According to her, she would place her phone beside her pillow when she slept and turn on the vibration mode. Unfortunately, Su Yang did not look for her even once when she was sleeping.
The moment she received Su Yang’s call, she immediately agreed to do the task and took a taxi to Tang Jing’s villa which was in the suburbs.
Then, Su Yang sent the 2 ladies each other’s contact numbers so that they could contact each other at any time before he continued his jog.
Half an hour later, Su Yang received a call from Chu Xia saying that she was ready.
When Su Yang returned to the female dormitory’s entrance, Chu Xia was indeed waiting outside. She was very pretty that day as she was wearing a pink dress matched together with a cute headdress. She looked young and cute.
Su Yang smiled and said, “Good morning, Mrs. Group Secretary.”
Chu Xia welcomed the sunlight with her eyes smiling like crescent moons. “Good morning, Mr. CEO.”
With that, she strode over to Su Yang and patted his shoulder. “Let’s go! I’ll buy you breakfast!”
For some reason, Su Yang would always be in a good mood when he was with Chu Xia. He smiled and asked, “Where are we going to eat?”
Chu Xia rolled her eyes at him. “Where else could it be other than our own cafeteria! You’ve been living outside the school for more than half a year. Have you long forgotten the taste of the food in the school’s cafeteria since you’ve been living outside for more than half a year?”
Su Yang was speechless.

While complaining about Chu Xia’s lack of sincerity, Su Yang followed behind her obediently.
The two of them strode forward one after another. After taking two steps, Chu Xia suddenly turned around to look at Su Yang.
Furthermore, everytime Chu Xia saw him, Su Yang would seem to be frozen in place as his actions and expression remained unchanged. Whenever Chu Xia saw Su Yang behaving as such, she would give him a sweet smile.
Hence, the two of them walked like children with one in front and the other behind during the entire journey.

At Chu Xia’s dormitory, Chu Xia’s dorm mate was still sleeping when she suddenly felt the ground shake. Before she could react, she was shaken awake by someone. “Bei Bei, Bei Bei, it’s late already, why are you still sleeping?”
She opened her eyes a little dazedly, and her vision gradually cleared. “Luo Luo, what are you doing? It’s still so early in the morning, plus we haven’t got class today.”
As she said that, she fell back onto her pillow and covered herself with the blanket to continue sleeping.
Luo Luo continued to shake her, “Wang Bei, didn’t you say that there’s going to be a gathering filled with rich people this afternoon? Are you still not going to get up? Look at the time.”
When Luo Luo said this, Wang Bei immediately sobered up. She suddenly sat up. “That’s right! How could I possibly have forgotten about that!”

Luo Luo looked at Wang Bei’s back view in a daze. Then, she looked at Liu Yiyi. “Yiyi… what’s wrong with her?”
Liu Yiyi was sitting on her bed, reading a book. She looked up at Luo Luo and said coldly, “Pee, I guess.”
Sure enough, a moment later, Wang Bei returned to the dormitory. As she held her nightgown, she said, “That felt great…”
Luo Luo was speechless.
Chu Xia’s dormitory consisted of four people. Chu Xia and Wang Bei lived on the left bunk while Luo Luo and Liu Yiyi lived on the right bunk.
Other than the two bunk beds, their desks had occupied the most space in their dormitory which were 2 large tables joined together, just enough space for each person.
Luo Luo’s desk was filled with her cosmetics.
After Wang Bei went to the toilet, the two of them went to Luo Luo’s table and chatted as they did their makeup.
Luo Luo asked, “Beibei, who is this Brother Lu that you were talking about?”
Wang Bei said, “Brother Lu is a wealthy guy from Baoshan whose parents have a lot of money. His family runs a factory. Moreover, he’s surrounded by other wealthy guys who are from similar family backgrounds as him. They’ve got luxury cars around everywhere and are filthy rich!”
Luo Luo widened her eyes and asked curiously, “What kind of cars are they?”
Wang Bei thought for a while, “I seem to recall there to be BMWs, Porsches, Ferraris and some others.”
Luo Luo said in surprise, “Ferrari?”
Wang Bei nodded. “That’s right.” She was fiddling with her hair as she continued, “But I only saw 1 there. I recognized the golden horse on the car, but… I have no idea what model it was.”
She then said, “The rest of the cars are BMWs, Porsches, some pretty looking sports cars or sedans.”
After Luo Luo heard this, she thought for a while and said, “But… shouldn’t a rich guy like that have a Ferrari, Lamborghini or something of the sorts?”
Wang Bei glanced at her with an expression that was mocking Luo Luo’s intelligence and said, “How could everyone own a Ferrari and a Lamborghini each? Those are merely things they show you in the dramas on television.”
“Think about it. Even if they’re rich, even if they’re rich through their own efforts, how much money could they possibly have? With that said, do you think their parents would be capable of buying them various cars to play with without thinking about their daily necessities?
“It’s tough running a business at the moment. It’s impressive enough if they can afford a Porsche or a BMW that costs more than a million yuan!”
“Oh…” Although Luo Luo felt that something was not quite right, she really did not understand how life was on the other end, so she could only nod.
Wang Bei continued, “I’m not trying to joke around here. Think about it, what do you think the cars are for? Of course they’re just for show! Therefore, aside from owning a commercial car, who in their right mind would bear to spend so much money on cars?”
“Take CEO Su that you’ve all been talking about everyday, aside from his Mercedes-Benz, does he have any other cars? I don’t think so, right?”
Luo Luo nodded weakly. “You’re right, he doesn’t have any other cars.”
Wang Bei said, “He’s bought a Mercedes-Benz for his work, to show off his status. However, the rich guys I know are buying those luxury cars for the fun of it.”
“They’re all buying cars. However, 1 guy’s buying it for work while the other is buying it for fun. Who do you think is richer?”
“Furthermore, the cars that the rich people I know are buying are much more expensive than his. If they aren’t considered rich, who is?”
Luo Luo nodded slowly. “I suppose you’re right…”
Wang Bei lifted her chin proudly and began to put on her makeup. As she drew her brows, she said, “Plus, your CEO Su doesn’t have any foundation actually. He’s far from being comparable to the other rich guys I know. Even if he has started his own career, his brains are still that of a farmer who doesn’t know that he has to improve the quality of his lifestyle according to his status.”
“You’ll never be happy if you were together with someone like him.”
Luo Luo was startled for a moment. “Are you referring to Chu Xia…?”
Wang Bei glanced at her, “You’re the one who said it, not me.”
Luo Luo coughed.
Wang Bei continued, “You’ll never be happy if you were together with a guy who’s put in his own efforts to get rich. That’s because they are too smart and very thrifty with their money. Plus, they’re glued to their own original status at the end of the day.”
“You’ll only be happy if you follow a guy whose riches are from their parents.”
“Let’s put everything else aside… Do you think Chu Xia will be able to sit in a luxury car if she were together with Su Yang?”
Luo Luo hurriedly shook her head. After shaking her head, she said hesitantly, “His Mercedes-Benz should be considered to be a luxury car, shouldn’t it?”

Don’t they already have one! Besides! If they can’t be considered to be rich if they have a sports car worth 1 to 2 million yuan, how expensive of a car would they need to have then? A car worth 5 to 6 million yuan?”
“In that case, why don’t you ask Su Yang to buy one! Can he afford it?”
“I doubt he’ll be able to afford it even if he cashes in all of the money that he has in his company, will he?”
“That commercial car that he has was probably bought with all the money that he could take out from his cash flow, wasn’t it?”
“I can’t understand why you’re all worshipping him like he’s a God. Isn’t he just a guy from the countryside? What capability could he possibly have to be able to become famous throughout the entire school?!”
