Chapter 942: Are You Asking Me to Go with You?
Mo Liuxi was not happy either. Why did he try so hard to explain to her?
She thought that he was a playboy, so let it be. She was nobody to him.
He spent a while thinking, then finally concluded.
“You think I want to tell you all this? I just worried that you might gossip about me with my sister. She wants me to have a girlfriend even more than my mom does.”
Yan Su wasn’t delighted to hear that. How much did he think she liked to gossip?
“Don’t worry. I won’t say one word about you to your sister,” Yan Su said.
Mo Liuxi pressed his lips together, putting on a long face.
Yan Su hurriedly turned and walked away.
Mo Liuxi followed behind her. They lived in the same building, so they shared the same destination.
Yan Su felt extremely awkward, as he was following behind her. She turned and walked into a supermarket.
“Where are you going?” Mo Liuxi asked casually.
“To buy some beef,” Yan Su said without thinking.
She planned to buy some beef on her way back home. However, she regretted telling him that, because he said he wanted beef congee for breakfast. It sounded like she was buying the beef for him.
As she thought, Mo Liuxi smiled and said, “Thank you. Get me some tenderloin please. That’s the most tender part.”
As he finished talking, he kept walking forward. Yan Su had never seen such an impolite man. She couldn’t help but stomp her foot and say, “You want the beef congee yourself, don’t you? Why do you make it sound like it’s a job of mine?”
Mo Liuxi stopped moving and turned around. His impeccably handsome face showed surprise as he said, “Are you asking me to go with you?”
Yan Su paused as she didn’t know how to respond. “That’s not what I meant…” she tried to explain.
“I’m going with you. I want the congee. It’s inappropriate for you to go alone.” Mo Liuxi spent a few seconds thinking, then walked into the supermarket.
Yan Su patted her forehead. She even wanted to tear her mouth out. Why on earth did she say that to him? Shopping with him was no better than shopping alone. Besides, it would become troublesome if anyone recognized her.
However, she had no choice but to walk into the supermarket along with him.
Mo Liuxi took a cart. He was only there to buy beef tenderloin, but he started shopping. He picked fresh fruit, vegetables, yogurt, ice-cream, noodles, and dumplings. He spent a long time standing before the freezer, trying to select the beef. He carefully looked at every box of beef.
Yan Su followed behind him, watching him shop with surprise. She rarely saw a man who was so patient and careful when shopping. Most girls were like that.
Mo Liuxi looked so cold and proud, not like someone who would shop with precision.
“Do you know how to cook chicken wings?” Yan Su asked, as he was spending quite some time looking at a few boxes of chicken wings.
Mo Liuxi nodded and said, “These were packed yesterday. I’m wondering if I should buy them or not, and if I should buy three or five. I can’t eat five alone.”
He paused briefly, then turned his eyes to her and asked, “Do you eat chicken wings?”
Yan Su felt flattered. “Are you gonna cook for me?”
“You’re overthinking. You can have some if I can’t finish them,” said Mo Liuxi blandly.

Yan Su curved her lips downward. She decided to accept his chicken wings, as she had to make him congee tomorrow morning. “All right. I’ll eat them.”
Mo Liuxi picked the box which contained five chicken wings.
Seeing Mo Liuxi shop, Yan Su started selecting food for herself as well. She was rarely at home, but she could at least buy some fruit and yogurt.
“This kind of yogurt isn’t good. This new cheese flavor is not bad.” The tall and slim Mo Liuxi walked up behind her, reached out a hand over her shoulder, and picked up a box of yogurt.
