An Lan scoffed, “Who’s the culprit? I’ll decide things on my own. The moment you left the house you said that I seduced and slept with you to get to where I am today. Why did you say such things in front of my client? I can’t even eat because of how disgusting your words are. I won’t put up with a scum like you anymore.”
“You’re really the most immoral lawyer I’ve ever met.” Xu Baohan lowered his gaze coldly. “With your looks, why would An Lan pursue you? Are you even comparable to me? I’m pursuing her and she’s still considering me. Do you think you’re comparable to me?”
This was the first time Xu Baohan had spoken about pursuing An Lan in front of everyone in the courtroom. This caused an uproar and the people who were watching the commotion immediately started discussing.
“Are you kidding me? Chief Judge Xu likes Ms An?”
“You just found out. Everyone in the courtroom knows this. We even saw Ms An and Chief Judge Xu go out for a meal together.”
“I heard they went hiking together last week.”
“Chief Judge Xu’s looks are far better than He Mingqian’s.”
The more they discussed, the more embarrassed He Mingqian became. His eyes were bloodshot. Whenever he encountered embarrassing situations like this, it had been An Lan who had brought it upon him. He would never let her get away with it.
An Lan was a little embarrassed. She hadn’t expected Xu Baohan to admit to pursuing her under such circumstances. In fact, this could negatively affect him if he failed to control the situation.

He Mingqian began to really panic, “Chief Judge Xu, you don’t know An Lan at all. Don’t be fooled by her, she’s not a good woman. She has slept with Nian Junting amongst other men and I’ve slept with her too. Why would someone like you chase after someone like that who has been ridden by everyone?”
“Watch your mouth,” Xu Baohan couldn’t take it anymore and pushed He Mingqian against the wall.
He Mingqian yelled, “The judge is bullying me, the lawyer is being bullied, there’s no law!”
Xu Baohan smiled darkly and remained unfazed, “Incidentally, Nian Junting and I have known each other for many years. I’ll send him what you said just now.”
He Mingqian’s face turned pale in an instant, “That’s impossible.”
An Lan stood at the side and sneered, “Baohan and Nian Junting have been classmates for many years. He Mingqian, don’t blame others for your own demise. Nian and his wife are very close. You’re trying to ruin their relationship and tarnish Nian’s reputation now.”
Xu Baohan let go of He Mingqian, took a step back and stood beside An Lan. He then looked at He Mingqian and said, “I couldn’t be here in the past but since I’m here now, I will not give up.”
Although Xu Baohan didn’t say much, each word he said was ominous and frightening.
Wu Hefei didn’t want to stay in the room any longer. Furthermore, he felt that it might have been the wrong decision to approach He Mingqian for the lawsuit. The lawsuit hadn’t even started and He Mingqian had already opposed and provoked others.
“Alright, I still have something to do back at the office. Mr He, you should leave too.” Wu Hefei, with his long legs, stood up and walked forward in large strides.
“Mr. Wu, wait a moment, I still have something to tell you,” He Mingqian followed hurriedly.
“He Mingqian, everything I’ve said is true,” Xu Baohan, who was behind him, said coldly.
He Mingqian’s body stiffened. He didn’t dare stay any longer and his thoughts were already swirling in his mind like a storm.
Su Run looked at He Mingqian’s back sympathetically. Whenever his boss was serious about the situation, the consequences were indeed very grave.
However, this He Mingqian was really shameless.
