Nian Xi didn’t know what to say.
She considered herself a thick-skinned person but didn’t expect that he was thick-skinned too.
He had already learned to promote himself.
Under his innocent gaze, Nian Xi coughed slightly, said, “Didn’t I agree to let you clean my apartment?”
“I mean, I want to clean your apartment forever,” Jiang Yuning curved his lips corners downward with a grievance.

“I don’t believe words. Actions are more important,” Nian Xi folded her arms and said, “Try to clean my apartment once when you recovered. Besides, if you want to be with me, you can’t be picky about food anymore. You’re weak because you only eat vegetables. You have to eat a lot of meat and fishes together with me.”
Jiang Yuning furrowed his brows, opened his mouth.
“Do you have a problem with that?” Nian Xi said to him.
Under her gaze, Jiang Yuning weakly shook his head.
Nian Xi looked at the poor boy. She was a policewoman. Would she ever let go of such a talented scientist who was able to develop high-tech weapons?
She would not. She had to keep him by her side, to make her all kinds of high-tech safety tools.
With those tools, she would be able to do her job so easily. She would be able to put her captain down within just a second. She might even become a director someday.
That would, certainly, take a long time, though. She shouldn’t be with him for that purpose. A relationship could not be forced. They had to be into each other to be together.

The transfusion wasn’t finished until midnight. While leaving the hospital, Jiang Yuning glanced at Nian Xi’s hoody, said, why didn’t you buy yourself a coat too? It’s cold. You can wear mine.”
“I forgot,” Nian Xi shook her head and said, “No. You haven’t healed yet. Just put it on. Wait here. I’ll go and get the car.”
Jiang Yuning watched her run away in the darkness, suddenly realized something.
Five minutes later, Nian Xi brought over the car. Jiang Yuning got into the car, said, “I’m going to buy a car.”
“Oh,” Nian Xi said, “You should buy a car. Every guy has a car nowadays. But… do you have a driving license?”
Jiang Yuning stayed silent for a few seconds, then shook his head with a bitter face, “Maybe I should try to develop a driverless car.”
Nian Xi was speechless.
“I heard it’s hard to get the driving license,” said Jiang Yuning bitterly.
The driving license was hard to get, so he wanted to develop a driverless car. The world of geniuses was really hard to understand.
“Even if you developed a driverless car successfully, you’d still need a license to get your car onto the roads. There are already driverless cars now. The technique isn’t stable yet, though. I’ve heard about quite a few driverless car accidents.”
“Alright,” Jiang Yuning said, “I’ll get the license when I recovered. Then I’ll be able to pick you up.”
He never noticed that earlier. But now, seeing the girl driving herself in the middle of the night, he even had his heart twitch. That kind of thing should be done by a man.
“Alright,” Nian Xi smiled.
“I’m going to buy a car exactly like yours,” Jiang Yuning added, “What is the brand called?”
“Just see for yourself,” Nian Xi tapped the steering wheel. There was a logo on it.
“Four rings.”
“It’s called Audi,” Nian Xi said.
“Oh, I thought it’s called Four Rings.”
