Zhai Yunsheng led Jian Yiling back to the dinner party.
On the other side of the room, Cai Qinyue and Wen Ruo watched the two of them from a distance.
From the time Qin Yufan took Jian Yiling to the lounge, the two of them had been paying close attention to movement near the lounge room area.

Zhai Yunsheng brought Jian Yiling over to a desk. There were two men seated at that desk. When they saw Zhai Yunsheng appear with a girl latched onto his arm, their eyeballs were about to fall out of their eye sockets.
What was going on here?

“What? Am I hallucinating? Is this Master Sheng?”
“Please pinch me. I think I’m hallucinating as well. Is that girl actually wrapping her arm around Master Sheng’s arm? Doesn’t Master Sheng not allow females to approach him?”

The two men seated at that desk were friends with Zhai Yunsheng. They had known Zhai Yunsheng for quite some time.

“Hello Miss Yiling. My name is Xing Wei. It’s nice to meet you. The kid next to me is called Han Mengyu.”
Han Mengyu indeed looked a bit like a kid. His suit was checkered in color.

Her response was rather reserved.
