Jian Yunnao and his roommates had surprised expressions on their faces when they saw Zhai Yunsheng.
They all knew of Zhai Yunsheng.
Zhai Yunsheng was famous at Beijing University. He was their upperclassman.
Zhai Yunsheng had taken a break in his second year of university. He hadn’t attended his classes. However somehow, he still managed to get all his credits.
In the year after that, Zhai Yunsheng also rarely attended his classes. However, he still managed to graduate early with excellent results.
And thus, he was seen as the god of learning in the eyes of all the students at Beijing University.
Of course, Zhai Yunsheng was not only known for his academic performance. He was also known for his good looks.
He was widely recognized as the most handsome man in Beijing University. There were many girls who were infatuated with him.
There was no doubt that he was incredibly popular and well-received.
Jian Yunnao could only be considered as the most handsome man in his department.
In fact, there was an interesting story that was floating throughout the university. Apparently, Zhai Yunsheng had danced with another man to avoid dancing with girls at the university’s social dance.
And thus, there had been certain rumors about Zhai Yunsheng’s sexual orientation.
Furthermore, Zhai Yunsheng hadn’t dated a single girl during the four years that he was in university. This made the rumors even more plausible.
And thus, even though Zhai Yunsheng had already graduated, he was still recognized by students at Beijing University.
Those students that were currently in their third year of university had occasionally seen Zhai Yunsheng on campus. As a result, they knew about his stories and popularity.
“Senior Brother,” Jian Yunao’s roommates greeted. They took the initiative to speak to Zhai Yunsheng.
Excitement could be heard in their voices. This was their idol!
Zhai Yunsheng’s gaze was sharp as he stressed again: “This person is taken. Don’t try and hit on her.”
Zhai Yunsheng knew that some males in university liked to strike up a conversation with girls.
“Senior Brother, do you know Jian Yunnao’s sister?”
Jian Yunnao’s roommates were quite confused. Under the influence of the rumors, they instinctively assumed that someone else was ‘taken’.
“Yeah, I know her. She owes me something and I’m going to ask her to return it,” Zhai Yunsheng replied. Then, he lowered his head to look at Jian Yiling.
Jian Yiling was willing to accept Zhai Yunsheng’s words. This was because she did owe Zhai Yunsheng a lot of things.
If Zhai Yunsheng wanted to ask her to return the favor, she was willing to do so.
Zhai Yunsheng’s words made Jian Yunnao’s roommates incredibly curious.
It felt as though Jian Yunnao’s sister and Zhai Yunsheng had quite a close relationship.
But… Didn’t Zhai Yunsheng like males…?
Then, Zhai Yunsheng completely ignored the people around him. He asked Jian Yiling: “Do you want to go anywhere else in the university?”
Jian Yiling shook her head.
Initially, she didn’t plan to tour around the university in the first place. However, she didn’t want to reject Jian Yunnao’s invitation.
“Let’s go to a dessert shop then.”
Zhai Yunsheng completely ignored Jian Yunnao. He took Jian Yiling with him and headed for the dessert shop outside the university.
Jian Yunnao hung his head down. He didn’t speak out against this.
He knew that he didn’t have the right to say anything.
Zhai Yunsheng meant much more to his sister. He had stood up to protect and defend her when she was most hurt.
“Yunnao, is it really okay for your sister to leave with Zhai Yunsheng?”
When faced with his roommate’s question, Jian Yunnao was unable to reply.
Some things weren’t up to him. It didn’t matter whether or not he wanted his sister to leave. Could he even do anything in the first place? Did he even have the right to ask her to stay?
He had lost that right a while ago… And thus, he could only accept her decisions…
