Jian Yiling already knew of this person. When she had initially started to search for suitable magicians, she had researched all of the top magicians in the country. She had gathered information about this person.
Su Xu was in her early forties. She was considered a veteran in the magician industry.
Her status and ability in the industry were recognized by everyone.
The most important thing was that she had never accepted a student.
In other words, this person was essentially the ideal candidate in Jian Yiling’s mind.
It was amazing that Ms. Qian had contacted her.

Ms. Qian looked at the computer screen. She felt incredibly relieved that she had sealed the deal.
Coincidentally, Su Xu had been attending an event in a city near Hengyuan City.
And thus, she arrived in Hengyuan City early the next morning.

Ms. Qian and Madam Su Xu arrived together whilst Jian Yiling and Jian Yujie arrived together.
Jian Yujie didn’t know the reason why Jian Yiling had asked him to come out. However, since it was his sister who had asked him to come out, there was no reason to not go.
“Yiling, do you want to eat at this restaurant?”
Jian Yiling didn’t answer Jian Yujie right away. Instead, she brought him to the private room that she had agreed on with Ms. Qian.
As soon as they entered the room, Jian Yujie immediately froze.
As an enthusiast about magic, there was no way that he didn’t know of Su Xu.
Previously, he could only see her through the computer screen. But now, she was standing right in front of him.
Su Xu was in her early forties. She had a pretty face that had subtle signs of aging. Compared to young people, she appeared more mature and wise.
