1433 Additional Compensation
Even though Situ Zhong did not find what he was looking for, he did not let the opportunity slip by when he saw something of value.

They used the antique boxes and chests found inside the manor to store the other valuables they found.
Eventually, there were almost twenty boxes lined up in front of Jian Yiling.
Naturally, this wasn’t everything. If Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng did not interrupt Situ Zhong, many more valuables would have been taken away.

“And what about the various locks and doors that you have broken? They’re all antiques. How much should they be worth?” Zhai Yunsheng questioned.
After all, the Xie family manor was built many years ago.

Situ Zhong and Zhang Xin were infuriated by Zhai Yunsheng’s unforgiving words.
However, as there were many big shots ready to back Zhai Yunsheng and Jian Yiling up, they could only swallow their anger.
Situ Zhong asked Zhai Yunsheng: “Young Master Zhai, how much do you expect us to pay?”

“If you don’t want to give us compensation, I’ll have to call the police. When they’re here, you can explain your acts of theft and trespassing to the police. So let’s see how much these valuables are worth… Do you think you will be jailed for your offense?” Zhai Yunsheng slowly said.
