Jian Yiling looked at Zhai Yunsheng for help.
She never put thought into this question.
“Just one,” Zhai Yunsheng said decisively.
“No, no, one is too little,” Master Zhai firmly disagreed.
“Nope, we’re only having one child,” Zhai Yunsheng replied. He was also a stubborn man.
“At least two!” Master Zhai conceded. This was as far as he would concede.
If Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng were only going to have one child, all hope had to be placed on that child. If something ended up happening to that child, Master Zhai would definitely faint from shock. He did not want something like that to happen.
“Well, if you want more children, go and give birth to your own. Another option is to get my uncle to have a child,” Zhai Yusnheng replied. He was not going to give in.
“What nonsense are you talking about? The two of you have such good genes. If you don’t give birth to more children, humanity would be disappointed!”

“But I still got my genes from you. And hence, if you have another child, their genes won’t be bad either,” Zhai Yunsheng retorted.
Zhai Yunsheng and Master Zhai kept arguing back and forth. Neither of them was willing to give in.

As she said this, she winked at Master Zhai. It was best to use stalling tactics here.
