During the two years when Zhai Yunsheng was ill, Qin Chuan did a lot of things.

However, this time around, the Zhai family did nothing to harm Qin Chuan. Despite this, Qin Chuan still recreated what happened in their previous life.
“If I say I didn’t want to do this, would you believe me?” Qin Chuan asked Jian Yiling.
Jian Yiling shook her head.
Qin Chuan’s eyes gazed at Jane Yiling. It was as though he wanted to read her mind: “Jian Yiling, do you know that remembering those things was incredibly painful for me?”
Upon hearing this, Jian Yiling frowned slightly. She did not really understand what Qin Chuan was feeling.
After all, when he remembered all these things, a lot of changes had already happened.
“Brother, what are you talking about?” Qin Yufan asked as she pulled Qin Chuan’s arm. She tried to shake him: “Brother, tell me what’s going on. Tell me why you’re doing this.”

“Jian Yiling, I fell in love with you. And all those memories… They let me know that you once loved me as well.”
Upon hearing these words, Jian Yiling froze.
Surprised expressions also appeared on Qin Yufan and Hu Jiaojiao’s faces.
“Brother, you’re saying that you… Liked Yiling?” Qin Yufan asked. Her voice was visibly trembling. “But… Aren’t you… With Mo Shiyun?”
Once again, Qin Chuan ignored Qin Yufan. Instead, he asked Jian Yiling: “Jian Yiling, what should I do? If I didn’t remember what happened, I could convince myself to give up. But after I recall everything, I could no longer convince myself to give up. I tried to become the same person I was back then. Despite attempting to do that, it seems as though I can’t change anything.”
He desperately tried to bring everything back to what it was before.
He even located Mo Shiyun, the woman he was supposed to be in love with for the rest of his life.
However, he couldn’t be with her. His body and mind would instinctively reject her.
He could not bring himself to touch her. That feeling made him feel sick and uncomfortable.
He also tried to make himself hate Jian Yiling. He desperately tried to stay away from her.
But his gaze still followed her uncontrollably.
And when he saw her with Zhai Yunsheng, he would become uncontrollably jealous.
He did not want to do these things.
But he couldn’t control his heart.
Jian Yiling stared at Qin Chuan. She didn’t know what to say.
She was never good at comforting people. And thus, she did not know what to do in such a situation.
