When Jian Yunmo read the messages, he did not know how to feel.
Why were they all placing the blame on him?
Jian Yunmo: [But I can’t make this decision for Yiling. If you guys want to go, you should speak to Yiling about this. Yiling can decide who she wants to bring along.]
Jian Yuncheng: [You should ask Yiling.]
Jian Yunmo did not know what to say to his tyrant brother: [Okay, okay. I will call her in a bit.]
Zhai Yunsheng also saw the news about Lahaisen Hospital’s team-building event.
After he arrived home, he saw Jian Yiling being busy at her desk. And thus, Zhai Yunsheng coughed gently.
Upon hearing Zhai Yunsheng cough, Jian Yiling immediately stopped what she was doing and looked at Zhai Yunsheng.
“Have you caught a cold? Is your throat feeling uncomfortable?”
“Nope,” Zhai Yunsheng replied. “I heard that you’re planning to go on a trip this weekend?”
“Mhmm.”
“Are you going as well?”
“Yep.”
When she heard that Zhai Yunsheng was alright, Jian Yiling directed her attention back to the work at hand. She did not notice Zhai Yunsheng’s expression and let alone figure out what he was implying.
Zhai Yunsheng pursed his lips together. He knew that his little rabbit had limited reading comprehension abilities. If he didn’t tell her what he wanted, he could be waiting until tomorrow morning and she wouldn’t even know what he implied.
Zhai Yunsheng walked over to Jian Yiling and leaned against the desk.
“Who are you going to take with you?”
“To where?” Jian Yiling asked.
“To the team building event. You’re meant to bring someone with you.”
“Do you want to go?” Jian Yiling asked rhetorically.
“Is that a question of whether or not I want to go? It’s a matter of whether or not you want to bring me,” Zhai Yunsheng replied pridefully.
Naturally, Zhai Yunsheng wanted to go. However, he didn’t want to tell her directly.
“I haven’t thought about it,” Jian Yiling answered.
“Then think about it now.”
“Then I will bring you with me,” Jian Yiling replied quickly.
She didn’t want to waste time thinking about this. In her mind, this wasn’t important.
“Are you being too hasty with your decision?”
Hasty?
Was she meant to think about it a bit more?
What was there to think about?
“Oh, I guess I will think about it again,” Jian Yiling answered.
Just as she was about to think through it again, her phone rang. It was Jian Yunmo calling.
Jian Yiling answered her phone.
“Yiling, who are you planning to bring to the weekend trip?” Jian Yunmo asked. He had been ordered by his parents and brothers to ask.
“I’m thinking about it right now,” Jian Yiling replied. She was way too honest.
