Upon hearing these words, Fei Qing was silent for a moment. She felt that this proposal was feasible.
If she won against Jian Yiling, everyone will learn that Jian Yiling was merely a pretty girl who was good for nothing.
And even if she lost, there was nothing to lose. Either way, their leaders had already decided that Jian Yiling was going to be representing their hospital at the medical conference. By then, everyone else would already assume that Jian Yiling was the better surgeon.

However, if it grew at the intersection of the trachea and blood vessels, the surgery would be incredibly difficult.
If the surgeon accidentally touched the trachea and blood vessels, the patient was likely to die on the operating table.
Furthermore, the patient was very old already. He was well into his seventies. And thus, Lahaisen Hospital did not recommend surgery as any small mistake would result in him losing his life. There was no need for the patient to suffer through this.
After returning to her office, Fei Qing pulled up the patient’s information.
As the chief physician, she had the power to accept or reject a patient.
Previously, she decided against accepting this patient because she cared about Lahaisen Hospital’s reputation and her own reputation.
However, she wanted to take a gamble.
And thus, she went back on her words and accepted this patient. Then, she sent a message to her colleagues that were responsible for contacting patients.

Zhang Yun pulled Jian Yiling over and hurriedly told her what she had just heard.
“Yiling, are you going to compete against Dr. Fei, the chief physician in the surgery department?”
