She was a bit nervous and uncertain. She was worried that he wouldn’t like the way she was dressed.
However, he liked it. He liked it a lot.
But he had to figure out why she was wearing such things.
“Who helped you dress up like this?”
“Little Zhezhe,” Jian Yiling replied honestly.
“Why did he help you?”
“Because I want to have a baby with you. He was willing to help me.”
“Isn’t that little boy only nine years old?” Where did he learn such things?!
“You didn’t answer me yet. Do you like this or not?”
Zhai Yunsheng walked over to Jian Yiling and hugged her. Then, he lowered his head to kiss her.
When the kiss ended, Zhai Yunsheng asked Jian Yiling: “Do you know my answer to your question?”
“It seems as though you like it?”
“I freaking love it.”
“Then… Can we have a baby?”
“Yiling,” Zhai Yunsheng said quietly. His expression was serious.
“Hmm?”
“I love you.”
“Mhmm…” Jian Yiling replied. Her cheeks became red.
“But it’s not the kind of love that ends up in merely moments of pleasure. It’s the kind of love where I want to treasure you. I don’t want to hurt you. That’s why I’ve been very hesitant. I’m afraid that in the end, my decisions and actions will just cause you pain. I want to wait until you’re sure that you like me romantically. Then, we can do other things. I want to give you time and space to regret.”
Jian Yiling looked at Zhai Yunsheng in a daze.
His usually playful and handsome face had a serious expression on it.
His eyes were also blazing hot.
If eyes could burn, Zhai Yunsheng’s gaze would have burnt up Jian Yiling.
However, he still restrained himself. He did not make any further moves.
He didn’t want her to do this just because she was afraid of his death.
He wanted her to do things only if she loved him and not as a task she needed to accomplish.

After he said this, Zhai Yunsheng held Jian Yiling in his arms again.
“Let me hug you for a little longer. Just a bit longer.”
As he hugged her, Zhai Yunsheng slowly calmed down.
