Outside the glass door, the sound of footsteps stopped.
Xia Ning heard the noise and turned around. She saw the man standing outside through the glass window and smiled. “Isn’t General Manager at the hospital? Why are you here?”
Shen Tianlang looked at the woman in front of him and felt that she was extremely unfamiliar.

Xia Ning smiled with satisfaction and sat down again. “Since General Manager is here, let him talk about the plans for the new year.”
The applause sounded again.
Outside the glass door, Shen Tianlang darted a look at Xia Ning’s back. He pushed the door open and walked in. He glanced at the higher-ups and sat in his seat.
About half an hour later, the meeting ended.
Xia Ning took Eric back to her office in the company.
As soon as she pushed the door open, Xia Ning saw the decorations inside. The color of the black leather sofa made her eyes turn black. The wooden furniture was even darker. The light in the room was very dim.
“Get someone to change the layout.” Xia Ning walked in.
“Yes.” Eric followed her in and recorded her words. He asked, “What style do you want?”
“More simplistic and spacious.” Xia Ning walked to the window and opened it. “This makes me feel stuffy.”
“Ok.”
Xia Ning took a look at the heavy foreign books on the wooden shelf. She walked over and took out a book. The book was very new and there were no signs of it being read.
Many wealthy businessmen liked to put a bookshelf in their office, but there were few who went through it. On the surface, they looked like a gentleman, but the scum on the inside was disgusting.
“Remove all the books on this bookshelf.” Xia Ning put the book back. “Change them to something I like.”
“Yes,” Eric replied.
Xia Ning went back to her desk and sat on the black leather sofa. She leaned back and looked at Eric. “Do you think this seat is comfortable?”
Eric darted a look at Xia Ning and went silent for a second. “That depends on who is sitting on it.”
“See, you are talking with hidden meanings now.” Xia Ning chuckled and played with the black pen on the table. “But that’s true. It depends on who’s sitting on it.”
Just then, the door was pushed open. Shen Tianlang walked in and looked at Xia Ning coldly.
Xia Ning smiled and looked at Eric. “Go out first.”
“Yes!” Eric nodded at Xia Ning and went out.
Shen Tianlang darted a look at Eric who was leaving. Hearing the door closing behind him, his eyes fell on Xia Ning again. “Must you do this?”
