Fate Online: Shadow Chapter 446

Chapter 446: Ancient Gear

“”Yes sir!””

All of the instructors quickly saluted and immediately left for their own things to do, while in the distance, the head instructor was watching Mr. Santos talking to his students about something.

“What did I tell you kids before we came here? I told you no fighting! But not only did you not stop those two from it, you even encouraged them by cheering them on!”

“We can’t help it sir, it’s human nature to watch and enjoy violence” replied one student in a joking manner, but after he uttered those words, the other students looked at him like they were looking at an idiot.

“W-what?”

Mr. Santos snickered and laughed out loud before saying, “Good, good, it seems my students have grown some guts! Don’t think just because you kids were born with golden spoons in their mouths, it automatically makes you fearless of your teachers! It seems that you guys have forgotten what people calls me! Give me a hundred push ups right now, or no dinner for all of you!”

“But-”

“No buts! Get moving or no dinner for all of you!”

Mr. Santos didn’t even let the students talk and just ordered them with his raised voice before walking away under the dumbfounded gaze of his students.

The students looked at each other and one of them couldn’t help but mutter, “But…we brought our own food though, so…I don’t see the point. Are we still doing it?”

One of the goth girls rolled her eyes and said, “Yes, if you don’t want to end up in a much worse situation”

“Oh men, I should have never pick this curriculum”

“Well, it’s currently one of the easiest curriculums to get high grades, so yeah, I don’t really mind classes like these compared to the torture of studying the academics inside a classroom. Classes like this are the best for the students not so bright like me”

“Enough chit-chat, let’s just do the one hundred push ups. I don’t want to receive any more punishment because we’re dilly dallying here”

With those words, the person slowly started stretching her body before going down on the ground and started doing her push ups while the others watched on for a couple of seconds before they soon followed after her.

On the other hand, Michael, Chad and Brandon had received their verdict of completing three laps around the island by the following morning.

Michael didn’t mind, though Chad was incredibly annoyed when he heard about it after waking up, while the latter was horrified when the realization that he had been found out had sunk in his mind, though at the same time, Brandon was still relieved that the punishment he had received was just doing laps around the island, which wasn’t that…bad?

Though his problems just won’t end there as Chad would eventually find out that he had a hand on what happened to him tonight, being the mastermind and all.

“Two more days…”

Michael is calmly standing on the beach by himself as he stared unblinkingly at the very dark ocean as the waves constantly slammed on the coast, while far behind him is the lit campground that’s filled with the delightful music of people groaning from pain of forcing themselves to finish that one hundred push ups that their teacher had meted at them.

“I wonder what Amanda is doing right now? She had probably caught up with my level right now during my short absence from the game”

Michael was muttering by himself while thinking about his girlfriend and the events taking place inside the virtual game during this time, and couldn’t help but miss it, especially the feeling of being free from the prying eyes of people.

“Though, who were those armed people the other night? Even this island is not safe from these kinds of people. The rich and influential really have a lot of things that threaten their lives” Michael can only sigh as no matter how he wants to avoid troubles, it always manages to find him like he’s some kind of a dragon ball, but in this instance, he’s a trouble ball and everyone has a trouble radar.

“Hey Michael, what…should we make..for dinner man!?”

A student in his group came wobbling just a few meters away from the campground and stopped before the edge of the sand slope and yelled towards him in between breaths as he had just finished doing his punishment a moment ago.

“There’s a kilo of pork left on the fridge, slice it up into cubes, then take the carrots, garlic and onion out of the fridge and then chop them up while I prepare the fire, got it?”

Hearing the person yelling at him, Michael just sighed for a couple of seconds before turning around and slowly made his way over while answering the student’ s inquiry for tonight’s dinner.

“Okay, what meal are you planning to make it into?”

“Something you have probably haven’t tasted yet, but we’ll see”

“Will it be delicious like the ones you made before?”

“Certainly, it would so delicious that you would probably forgot your name for moment because of its taste”

The student waited for Michael and walked with him back to the camp while asking him a couple of questions that eventually made him swallow his saliva as his imagination started running wild while thinking about the food for tonight.

Meanwhile, standing before a pile of loot.

“This Undead Boss was a hard hunt, but it only dropped one Ancient Gear? This sucks” said Falling Moon, the Elder of War Angel who hasn’t made an appearance for a while due to some matters in real life.

Solitary Tempest looked at the members from the multiple guilds around here, then at her real life friend, Jenny and said, “There’s a lot of us here, to be fair, let’s do a roll. Whoever gets the Ancient Gear can sell, auction it or whatever, keep it if you want. Agreed?”

‘I wish Mike was here, this gear was such a huge miss for him’ Solitary Tempest couldn’t help but have those thoughts inside her while looking at the item in her hand.

“Seconded!”

“Sounds fair to me, we don’t want a guild hoarding it just because they have more members on their side”

“Ohh f*ck off, at least we don’t kill steal like a certain someone”
