Sheng Qing was Xue Yan’s nickname.
Although he was not yet twenty years old, his teacher had given him a name in the first year of school. Those who had a good relationship with him in the Academy basically called him Sheng Qing.
“Doctor Shen.” Xue Yan quickly stood up and cupped his hands in greeting.
Xue Yifu and Li Hehua shot to their feet. As if their butts were on fire, they stammered out a greeting, “Doctor Shen.”
Li Hehua also hurriedly placed Jiang Yue on the ground.

Even though Doctor Shen was not the only one who praised her, Jiang Yue still felt a little embarrassed.
Doctor Shen said a few more words to her before his line of sight fell on Xue Yan again, he smiled and said, “Since when did your family have such a lovely baby girl? Why haven’t I heard you mention her before?”
Xue Yan explained the situation.
“So that’s how it is.” Doctor Shen understood. “Have a seat,” he said with a smile. “Please, stay for lunch.”
“No, no, no…” Xue Yifu and Li Hehua wanted to say that there was no need, but because they were too reserved, they could only say no after a long time.
“Relax, I won’t bite.” Doctor Shen joked.
This time, the atmosphere was much more relaxed.
Xue Yifu and Li Hehua laughed in embarrassment. Slowly, although they were still reserved, they felt much better.
“We’re here to ask you to check on my sister-in-law’s condition only, so we won’t be having lunch here.” Xue Yan smiled.

“Let’s go to the inner room, I’ll take her pulse first.” Doctor Shen nodded.

After entering the inner room, there was a table with pulse pillows and other things on it. This table was Doctor Shen’s consultation table. Doctor Shen sat on one side, and Li Hehua sat on the other side opposite him.
Jiang Yue, Xue Yan, and Xue Yifu just stood there and watched.
