Chapter 1010: What is an eunuch
Chen Ning’s heart couldn’t help sinking a bit.
She let out a sigh and stroked Xiao Ru’s head as she said, “Silly girl, do you know that Xiao Si is an eunuch?”

I called his name and asked him what happened, but he didn’t even look at me, like he didn’t hear me at all. I blinked again and even Xiao Si was gone. Young miss, do you think there’s something wrong with my eyes? IF he really was Xiao Si, why would he ignore me?”
Xiao Ru’s chin came up and tears were dangling off her eyelids.
Chen Ning didn’t say anything as she imagined the scene Xiao Ru described in her mind, causing a strange feeling to come over her.
Didn’t Mo Chuan say that he was going to have Zhui Feng find Chu Shao Bai? Why did he bring Xiao Si to a corridor for a secret talk? What secret do they have that they don’t want others to know? Or could it be they were hiding something from her?
She understood Mo Chuan. He had a calm personality and didn’t show any expressions. Other than the smile he normally showed her, in front of the ministers and in the palace, he always had an ice cold face.
What did Xiao Si say to actually make Mo Chuan’s expression change? Something very big must have happened!
