I didn’t even know how to respond anymore.

Everyone happily scattered while Lin Nan stayed behind to accompany us.
“These flowers are really beautiful,” I said sincerely.

I nodded. Why was I always so unlucky?
I thought for a moment and sighed. I took out a small dagger from my boot and wanted to slash at my finger.

I sighed and pushed her hand away. I quickly made a cut on my ring finger.
“Saving her is more important. We can’t wait anymore. Listen to the fight. Help won’t be coming anytime soon. We can’t watch her die. Come, help me pull out her arrow.
