Special needles shot out and sunk into the murderer’s shoulder. These needles could suppress superpowers.
“Ah!!” The murderer screamed at the top of his lungs. He did look like a wild beast. After being injured, he crouched down, assumed a defensive posture, and roared in Chi Jiao’s direction.
Chi Jiao was expressionless. Together with Beitang Lie and Pei Yao, they all raised their guns and aimed at the murderer. Everyone fired a shot.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three powerful bangs rang through the air as three long needles flew towards the murderer.
The murderer didn’t dare to be careless this time. He moved quickly and dodged Chi Jiao and Pei Yao’s shots, but Beitang Lie’s silver needle hit his thigh.
The murderer fell to the ground in a sorry state and rolled toward the bed. He bumped his head against the bedpost and started bleeding.
Nevertheless, the murderer just grunted and got up from the ground. He still refused to give up and wanted to head in Jiang Dashan’s direction.
“Don’t even think about harming the hostage!” Pei Yao suddenly rushed over and released a ball of flames from her palm, which swept towards the murderer’s face!
The hot flames hit him in the face. The murderer his eyelashes and eyebrows were still burned even though he was already on guard. The wave of fire singed his eyes, causing searing pain.
The murderer twisted his body and let out an agonized wail. He rolled across the floor and smashed the window, before jumping down.
“Damn, this is the sixth floor!” Beitang Lie said as scales suddenly appeared on his body. Then, he jumped out of the window with the murderer.
Pei Yao’s heart was in her throat. She reached out in fear and subconsciously grabbed Beitang Lie’s hand.
However, not only was she unable to stop him, but she was even dragged down by him.
“Sister Yaoyao!” Chi Jiao’s heart trembled as she watched Pei Yao and Beitang Lie fall together.
Chi Jiao rushed to the window and looked out, ignoring the broken glass on the ground.
The murderer had broken one of his legs from the impact of the fall.
There was a clearing cracking sound and the murderer grunted in pain. He continued to run forward into the park across the road, dragging his broken leg along.
“Quickly send people to seal off the park. We have to capture the murderer no matter what!” She ordered her subordinates.
“Got it!” Chi Jiao’s 117 subordinates quickly took action.
Chi Jiao continued to look down anxiously and saw Beitang Lie carrying Pei Yao as they stood together on the air-conditioner attached to the third floor.
Relieved that they were not smashed on the ground in a bloody mess, she called out loudly, “Beitang Lie, bring Sister Yaoyao down carefully. I’ll go find you when I get down!”
“Got it.” Beitang Lie held Pei Yao tightly and jumped down to the air conditioner on the second floor.
He then leaped down to the air-conditioner on the first floor, before finally landing on the ground floor. Beitang Lie was relieved that he had managed to carry Pei Yao safely to the ground.
“Are you injured?” Beitang Lie looked at her anxiously. He was relieved to see that she was only a little frightened and did not have any external injuries.
