Apocalypse Cockroach Chapter 54

Chapter 54: Where did the undergarments come from?

Chapter 54: Where did the undergarments come from?

“Didididi…….”

The ringing alarm from the phone caused Zhang Xiao Qiang to wake up with a shock. He stood up and stretched, his hands on his hips as he began loosening his body up.

The alarm kept ringing mercilessly, and Zhang Xiao Qiang itched to turn it off. Coupled with the familiar tune, it felt like he had gone back in time to before the apocalypse.

Yang Ke’er continued to sleep soundly, just that her posture was extremely unbecoming.

The blanket had dropped on the ground, her head tilted to the side. She was drooling and there was a line of saliva from her mouth to her thigh. The shimmering saliva drops looked like parts of silk from a spider web, linking her mouth to her thigh.

One of her legs was stretched out, the other raised up on a chair. The lingerie she was wearing was extremely loose since the huge cups had nothing to cover, thus revealing her quail eggs.

The 2 quail eggs were like lotuses described in ancient poems, with pointy ends. They were slightly flushed pink and there were light-coloured acacia beans on top of them.

Zhang Xiao Qiang picked up the blanket and prepared to drape it over her, while his eyes roamed over to the slightly-exposed Yang Ke’er.

“Wait?!” As he caught sight of the black undergarments, he felt them familiar.

“Damn it!” Wasn’t this the one he had found? He had felt it too wasteful to give to her, and kept it at the bottom of his bag to give to a more well-endowed girl should he encounter one. How the hell did this stinky lass steal it for her own?

He was thoroughly angry now, she had actually taken it without a sound to wear it, it was theft of his private property!

The phone alarm was still ringing, and Yang Ke’er was beginning to rouse from her sleep. She covered her ears and moaned: “Mum! Turn the alarm off, 5 more minutes please!!”

“You’re late for school!” Zhang Xiao Qiang turned off the alarm and shouted beside her ear.

Yang Ke’er instantly bolted awake, shouting with a frantic expression: “Oh no oh no!”

She trembled when she saw Zhang Xiao Qiang’s ugly expression and saw the blanket in his hands. She felt cold all of a sudden.

She lowered her head and discovered her little treasures revealed.

“AH~~~~~~~~~” She shrieked, shielding herself, and groaned: “It’s over! They were seen! I can’t face people anymore! Wuwuwu…..”

“Peng” Zhang Xiao Qiang threw the blanket on her head, covering her entirely.

“Out with it! Where did the undergarments come from?!” He barked out.

She replied with a muffled: “That… that!” as though she couldn’t explain herself.

She tugged the blanket down, revealing her head, as she laughed sheepishly.

“Uncle! You’re perverted! You actually kept a piece of female lingerie in your bag? Relax! I won’t tell others, treat this lingerie as a fee for keeping my mouth shut!”

She spoke with such a self-righteous tone, her expression still cheeky.

He looked at her, baffled, before sighing deeply.

After the matter was cleared, Zhang Xiao Qiang got off the bus to prepare breakfast, and as he thought to the breakfast Yang Ke’er prepared yesterday, he almost vomited.

He removed the steel beam blocking the door and kicked the door open. Fresh air came rushing in, and he breathed in deeply, feeling invigorated.

The sun shone warmly, and as he prepared to step off, a bunch of shiny objects caused his attention, and he turned back to take a closer look.

The front of the coach had been rammed, and the windshield had crack lines running all over it. Right underneath it was the driver’s seat, and the source of the shine was a bunch of keys!

His eyes lit up, as the saying went ‘finding a key when one is out usually meant good tidings’, he hoped this was the same.

“Peng” the luggage compartment was opened, and a number of luggage appeared, all packed neatly.

“Ji~~~~” He opened the first bag, and it revealed countless handphone cases, knockoff phones. He brought out a set that had a full battery and saw that it was compatible with the Nokia he had. He calculated, noting that using the batteries from here could last the phone till next year.

After collecting all the usable batteries and keeping them carefully, he then opened up the second bag.

Zhang Xiao Qiang felt his eyes water when he saw the contents, as he remembered a saying: “If God closes a window, he usually opens another one for you.”

There were all sorts of lingerie inside the 2nd bag, with different looks, sizes, styles and his heart was immediately aflame.

Seeing Yang Ke’er still engrossed in a mobile game, he quickly and silently kept the most alluring and captivating ones, even the more expensive-looking ones into his bag.

“Come over! Select your own ones, taking some of all sizes also, in case you run out of them when you hit puberty!” He called Yang Ke’er over to choose.

When she saw the various lingerie packed like flags, she whooped with delight and dived into it.

“The first one was selling of phones, the second one seemed to deal with undergarments, don’t tell me the third one deals pirated CDs?” His thoughts began to drift as he opened up the third bag, feeling as though he was opening up chests in games.

The 3rd bag was extremely normal, with only a few male clothing inside. After pulling out the clothes to throw them aside, he felt the bag again and discovered something thick. He pulled it out and placed it on the floor.

It was a paper bag that contained 20 packets of money. The moment he opened them, he noticed a huge stack of 100-dollar bills neatly packed. Each stack was worth $10,000, 20 packets of them meant $200,000.

He tore open all of them and threw the money into the sky. 2,000 100-dollar bills floated about in the air before falling to the ground again.

The bills floated about, landing on the roof of the bus, some near the 2 people, some onto the bridge, and some even landing in the river, following the flow of water.

As Zhang Xiao Qiang stood amidst the falling bills, he had an overwhelming feeling that he could not voice! Yang Ke’er was distracted from the game and grumbled that he shouldn’t throw rubbish about.

“Rubbish?” He contemplated her words. It was true! Humans slogged their lives, only to discover at the end, that it had all been for a bunch of paper. The apocalypse had robbed the value of these paper, and he was still feeling emotional over such rubbish? It was truly silly of him!

He recollected his feelings, before opening the fourth bag. The owners must have been a young couple, as there were both male and female clothing, and there was even a couple set of TNF jackets, one gray blue, the other light blue.

The gray-blue was the male’s while the light blue belonged to the female. Zhang Xiao Qiang took a sniff, noting there was no smell, and threw the female jacket over to Yang Ke’er, as he continued searching.

“Ha,” He picked up a diary and exclaimed in surprise. There were 2 of them, one clean with no decorations whatsoever, the other was stuck with all sorts of cat stickers. There was even a mini cartoon cat puppet keychain.

These 2 diaries were outdoor-dedicated notebooks, released in April 2012. Its silver black titanium shell casing could absorb all sorts of impact, and the notebook could function in all sorts of weather, regardless of temperature, be it in the desert or rainforest, on a plain or in the waters, the notebook could be written on.

When he had first seen the description of the notebook on the net, he had been itching to get as well. However, the steep price had caused him to falter. Now he actually obtained one! He carefully kept the notebook inside the laptop bag, when he saw 2 folded bags. He opened them up to take a look and saw 6 mirror-like objects placed in two rows. He wasn’t sure what they were at first until he felt the connection port.

Could this be the legendary solar-charging battery pack?!
